Since your an all might fan I wanted to point out why he went manic since I love him too. Since he lost his quirk fully after fighting all for one he felt powerless. Remember season 1 he said you need a quirk to be a hero before. In the manga it points out that Deku inspired him to try this and motivated him through the fight. The laugh is him realizing "Wait, I actually did real damage to him, I can actually do this." Even when you go in to win against someone like All for one, to actually see it was probably a wonderful feeling for him.
The good news is that Season 8 will come out next year with only around 12 to 13 episodes which is good. I just hope Bones cooks as much as they cooked this season.
