“Good for You that like Good old fashioned movies!” But sometimes it’s not crazy to watch a DeadPool movie or a Movie where Jesus is a samurai fighting other samurai. The way the World is now hardly a normal movie comes out anymore.
I watched this movie 2 months ago & enjoyed it so much. Jennifer Lawrence has done so well as always. Bradley was great too. I'll recommend it to all those who struggle & fight to make their lives as they wish it to be. Fight for yourself but in a right way. Watch movies & enjoy but do learn something from them too. Thanks a lot to 20th Century FOX for this wonderful movie.
I just saw this movie at the cinemas. It is by far the best movie that has been released by Hollywood this year . Jennifer Lawrence delivers and outstanding performance and you can't help but sympathise for her character! This movie was empowering and very inspiring!

I mean when I saw Winter's Bone, that was already a wonderful job, Silver... was great, especially for her young age, Hustle was fun, but also complex, which is a tough thing to create, and it seems like this is gonna be even better. It's kinda funny that she's already an Oscar winner and she's only at the beginning of her already-awesome career.

Yeh, of course she's not for teens. THG is one thing. But Winter's Bone. Don't wanna be mean to ALL the teens out there, but I'm pretty sure that was not their cup of tea. Or Silver Linings or American Hustle etc. She's very mature for age, very natural actress who can play pretty much anything, cause it seems she's very humble and she's willing to learn the craft every day, from more experienced film makers. Hence she could play a widow in such funny and beautiful way.

This was incredible. Jennifer Lawrence is a phenomenal actress and nobody can convince me otherwise. This role was executed PERFECTLY. Not overly done or dramatic, but rather like she is who she's playing. Trailer does not do it justice.
She filmed this right after American Hustle so she got paid way back. Remember the Sony Hack? All the guys made more than her. Depending when she signed to do the film they all got a pay bump, but I'm almost sure he's still making more than her on this one.

Too many men are being raised by single moms, so they have no clue about being responsible accomplished hardworking men, but are relegated to momma boy status and dependent on women all their lives. David O. Russell does not get so much credit in the cinematic world. In my opinion he is one of the greatest working directors right now, alongside Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Nicholas Winding Refn and Noah Baumchach. I am totally excited to watch this movie...

I can see why you would say that, two oscars nominations is kind of a big deal and recognition, but I feel that all the credit he gets is due and only to critical acclaim and not in a deep audience recognition as one of todays most important cinematic voices. What I was trying to say (and now that I reed it, I was not clear) is that I see him as a an author and a decade defining director. On the contrary or other Hollywood and critical darlings like Nolan, Tarantino or the Coen Brothers, where people go to see their films because of the directing; O. Russell I believe is always on the shadow of their actors, where I see him as the real star of his films, a director with a cinematic voice and a modern author...
I believe those incidents are extra or not relevant for his filmography. I kind of agree with the American Hustle Situation, although I see it more than a homage and an appropiation of an style that would work with the narrative and esthetic of the film, kind of like Boogie Nights. I particularly love I Heart Huckabies, The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook, I find them as perfectly written films and I believe his direction is really complete, where I believe he shines as an actors director, he has an interesting sense for camera movements and composition. But you know its just my opinion...

My dad lives were they filmed this movie in haverhill mass i saw it they changed the stores names and they washed the windows it was awsome they changed everything into a Christmas theme i loved it i drove threw it alot under the big decoration of a christmas bell i miss those days
