Been following Hrusa from his beginnings, so happy he's finally conducting Berliner Philharmoniker!

Perfect tempo, thrilling strings and roaring brass, whats not to love?
cet orchestre fait tout : le reste c’est du pédantism….pas de grandeur-pauvres personnalités
Bruckner et le Berliner. Quelle belle association. Magnifique. J’ai remarqué, avec grand plaisir, que certains élèves de la Karajan academy faisaient partie de l’orchestre. Surtout un jeune violoniste que je trouve tellement chou et qui a l’air étonné d’être là. Leurs mentors ont de quoi être fiers.
Merci de cette observation... c'est réassurant que les éleves de Karajan se trouvent au sien de l'ochestre.. Pour moi, et ce depuis beaucoup des années, le BP restent le meilleur orchestre du monde... même plus maintenant suivant l'arrivé du nouveau chef d'orchestre!

Have you ever noticed that, while other of the world’s great orchestras (e.g. Frankfurt, Paris, Barcelona, Concertgebouw, etc.) regularly post entire works, all we ever get from Berlin is three minutes. “If you vant to see us, you gotta pay, baby, PAY!!”
Never sure how the idea that musicians don't need money got started.

That's the genius of RUclips. They make 15 billion a year (look it up) and still make Stewart Smith believe that he doesn't pay. They even get him to do their bidding and bully honest businesses. Indeed, with consumers like you, most top artists have no choice but to give up their work to RUclips (Google, that is) who are in it for exactly one thing: make everyone work for them for free and make YOU pay, baby, PAY!!!

Why is there a different timpanist in every video? I thought the position already went to someone?
The position is there but if maybe he got sick or something of course they ask other people to play for him. They have concerts every week, this can happen.
@@serendrixsan9191 they have two timpanist, but the newer one has disappeared from their website.
This was a lovely concert. Does anyone know who the guest principal flute is? She was wonderful as was the whole orchestra.

Is it me? I seem to recognize less and less faces in the BPO.... I have watched them over 50 years - hardly recognized anyone in this performance.
Seem to be a lot of guest players. I guess everybody decided to go on vacation at the same time.
