Damn you really wrote a lot of numbers down here
Pin this, just for fun 😂
I really dig this witty side of you! I'm disabled so I couldn't do anything that you are doing. But you give me a chance to kind of tag along for the ride!! I really appreciate the way you do it. It's like an interactive experience that you are inviting us to take.
I'm sure you know it all, the accommodations people will make for you especially in America are endless. you might even be able to take a robot from home on a plane?
Gordon I agree, I’m disabled too, but I’m quite happy to go on an adventure with someone & their camera 😀 Especially because this channel is calming and quiet, I can’t watch people who screech or are hyper. If I want hyper I can have 3 Haribo jellies or worse…eat something blue 😂
Me too! They should write a lite novel! They have talent!
I am not disabled but i cannot do that because i have no money for that but i know something about japan now with these videos, its great
@@ephana1 yeah who has money for Japan, Its probs one of the top expensive vacations you can take. And it takes a couple weeks to absorb it all anyway. There are better places in the world for sure.
The search for the S-tier toilet continues, not that you expected to find it on the Sunrise Seto, I'm sure. I feel like you've gotten funnier over the course of your videos, and I'm enjoying how you point out the little frustrations as well. Congratulations on 10k subscribers! I'm looking forward to seeing how your style develops even further. :)
The blue bird is a lovely as an avatar 😀
In some places on some trains the hole in the train floor is the toilets 😂 I thought uk trains could be bad until I saw that, many times 🤢
Crazy how quickly this channel has grown? Just 10k 3 months ago!
@@Captain-Sum.Ting-Wong it is now almost a million
I just love that you don't talk, and we can really get the atmosphere of your trips. You do have a sense of humor. Thanks so much for doing these. I will probably never get to see Japan, so this gives me a way to experience it. And it's become addictive!
It’s like a nice little hotel room. I wasn’t expecting there to be a shower, they really have thought of everything! Pretty good value really, and some nice scenery to go along with the comfortable ride. Thanks for the video.
its the same size of a typical tokyo apartment
“The Thinker” by Solo was excellent! Love the commentary-hilarious, informative and a lovely accompaniment to the beautiful scenery.
There was no commentary. I did not see any.

@@notmyname327 Yes, I found it. That is what I said. I forgot to turn it on. Thanks. 🙂
Its a new way of vlogging, I've never seen this method. The way you are silent during the whole trip and letting us experience this sights are truly magnificent. Nice video and I enjoyed it really, it really gives vibes to visit japan once in my lifetime. Huge thumbs up to you👍👍👍
Thank you for these videos! Each one is a perfect little jewel. I suspect much research behind each. You have a very good eye for what people in other countries will find surprising, interesting and enchanting. An old woman in California loves your videos.
Adding my thanks and praise. And especially thank you for NOT putting music throughout as most vloggers seem to do these days.
I’ve never been to JP before and barely recognize any of the cities mentioned in your videos, but your channel really helped me copping thru the quarantine period, i love traveling and I miss the on-the-move aspect of it so much, I feel like I’m traveling in JP whenever I was watching your video
nice video...
no annoying background music
no opening & closing video
so simple, information and satisfying...
thank you
Ahhh,Japan, the land where everything works & it's perfect!

We should say thank you to YOU! You have shared some of your beautiful country with us and have amused us with your commentary in each video. Hope your channel continues to grow! ❤️
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you Jen
Love your commentary. Its so hilarious. Amazing videos. Keep doing the good work. I love to watch your videos. Much love from the Netherlands
These videos are relaxing to watch and give me insight to Japan. It feels like I’m traveling myself! I really like how you don’t talk during the videos as it allows me to experience the travel on my own interpretation. This is a great way to travel virtually! The food is fascinating to look at and looks very delicious. Thank you for your videos! Longer video shots of the scenic places are nice to enjoy.
14:57 That ticket was inserted upside down hahaha. Amazing view of the first class cabin, and it definitely looks much more spacious and comfortable. Also congratulations on 10k subs!
He had a 50/50 chance of getting it right and failed miserably.

I love this more than any other solo travel channel, because you film at night more than during the day. I love the empty night time tours
U know, Solo-san, ur sense of humor is ur greatest asset. It makes ur videos a thousand times more entertaining. And as u bring us along, it makes u really so much fun to be with. Take care in ur travels. Domo Arigato Gozaimashita.🧔
I just have to say that I really look forward to your videos!! I am bed bound, and I have always wanted to travel to Japan. I'm able to watch them on my television so it really feels like I'm traveling vicariously through you! Keep on doing what you're doing, and thank you for doing this :)
humorous, informative and neutral for everyone to watch :’) and without ever seeing you, and by your creativity we still see your wonderful personality come through in every video ✨
Thank /you/ for showing us your wonderful, beautiful, amazing country and congratulations for your 10K milestone. Wish you get much more. Greetings from Mexico. 🇲🇽🇯🇵
I still say that you have the nicest hands on RUclips ☺️
I can’t stop laughing at “UNCLENCH” 😂 Thank you for these wonderful videos, Solo!
You must have the world's largest collection of disposable slippers.....😂
How?
I've watched this videos many times and I will watch it many times more.

"Enter your favorite number to set the lock" Solo: 420
Yes 🤣👍🏻
420 blaze it! Haha. Your "favorite" number. LOL. You and every college age American. On a side note, that is probably one of the best trains ever. I just love the Japanese rail system. Thank you for sharing.
Could you explain what does 420 stand for?
@@fbxn There is an urban legend that back during the 1960s, the US Government accidentally legalized marijuana for a day, and it was April 20th, or 4-20, so now the time of 4:20, be it AM or PM is supposed to be party time.
Consider that the other memetic funny number is 69.
_Nice, amirite?_

Advocating e-fasting since 1998 lol. But the price is quite cheap considering the 10 hours trip, with private bed and space. If it's shinkansen i'm sure the price will be doubled. Makes me want to try this train!
The truth is I've loved these videos since I was a child I liked them and now too but the truth is we can't afford those luxuries so I love watching these videos and imagining myself traveling
It’s long, I love it! I like past you, present you and future you. Thanks for the videos. ❤️🇨🇦
Thank you for the Greek subs. Many love from Greece. Great video!!!
Cleanliness, systematic, order, spaciousness in the cabin, the window, silence, sufficient length of the video
- things that I liked and enjoyed here
Your captions crack me up, like when the train passed by you on the platform. Your videos help me sleep on even the most restless nights, while at the same time give me some serious wanderlust.
Congrats on the 10K subs! It is well deserved. Thank you for showing us everything about how Japan traveling works through buses, trains & ferries! They're all nice to look at & gives us a lot of information.
Love sleeper trains. A lot of sweet memories. And, I always sleep well with the train rocking.
I absolutely love these videos. The gentle humor and informative presentation is *chef's kiss*. Someday when I can visit Japan (hopefully in a few years or sooner) I want to ride ALL THE TRAINS. Perhaps it's strange to have a main excitement be the transportation but I think it's in my top 4 most anticipated activities (along with food, hot springs/baths, and national parks).
Congratulations on your achievement! And thank you for all the work you put into making these wonderful videos.
Best part is that there is no unnecessary commentary by the blogger, honestly feels like I am a part of the journey... Gg keep it up mam
Thank you for sharing..
OMG!!!....You inhaled the contents of that bowl LOL! Must have been delicious! Thank you! for another lovely ride through Japan.
Your videos are very informative, but they also make me smile and laugh. Thank you!
I love the editing on these vids!
i adore the design of the train...the front of the loco has a really characterful

Everything about this train ride is awesome- great job narrating too - I WANT TO GO TO JAPAN!!:)
I love this video and your channel
You always bring such a relaxed, personable vibe to your videos. I feel like I’m on a journey with a friend
You should do a whole video on toilets in Japan. I don't know the difference between a C tier, an S tier...or anything else. Love your sense of humor, which should really pair well with a video on Japanese toilets.
Doomo Arigato Gozaimasu!!
I've been living in Japan for over 30 years, but I've never been on this type of train.
Now I've got a new item on my bucket list, which is "to eat Yakisoba noodle on Sunrise Seto".
Your amenities bag was the equivalent of a Swiss army knife minus the corkscrew. Every basic need is covered, as well as a want or two.
Thank you for enjoyable journeys and your honest amazement at what the journey delivers. Keep up the good work and please enjoy it so we can also appreciate your enthusiasm
Thanks a lot for your videos! They give me a unique calmness and inner peace, and their journeys inspire me. I have one more reason to go to Japan: to enjoy one of these wonderful train trips!
Increíble trabajo amigo Solo Solo.

Weird how even if OP does not speak, I can perfectly hear him say that 420.
A very spacious cabin! I watched this right after watching your first-class capsule hotel experience. Some similarities.
The removal and coupling of carriages happens in the uk too. Sometimes train put together, then the split to go two separate ways and destinations. Get on the wrong end of the carriage and it’s a huge ooops moment. Even though it’s announced many time, on station information boards and before it’s taken apart they again announce it. But I’ve seen people, particularly with earphones who haven’t got the sense to read the boards are caught out most.
Fantastic train. Thanks for taking us along!
so calming and charming videos. it seems I'm hooked on it
Congratulations on your subscription numbers! I have loved every one of these videos. It's been such a great way to explore Japan. Thank you for continuing to put such great content out there. A viewer in Central Texas
