I like to watch these videos before I go to sleep. The lack of anyone's voice, and especially the lack of loud music, is so peaceful. The videos just have such a calming effect. 😊👏

I was gonna post the same. I wouldn't sleep or watch telly. I'd just put some ambient music on and look out the window. my kid would be the same. We'd also eat dinner looking out...hehe.
What a beautifully maintained train. I appreciate the fact that gave you lots of amenities. Smooth fast ride, quiet, departed and arrived on time. Nothing broken, no excuses, everything clean... makes the travel a real pleasure. Great job filming. Wished we had something like this in the United States.
Well, it used to be a thing in the US, the famous NY to Chicago overnight express (sleeper), it was the example for businessmen and salesperson travel between two metropolis----finish work at Manhattan office at 4 pm, get on that train, settle down in a solo room with bed, luggage space, a small restroom just for youself and a dining car serves steak and smoke salmon, and after a good night sleep, wake up at central Chicago, ready to meet your client. That was the shining example of overnight express during late 1940s-1960s.
Or in India. They're introducing the vande sleeper trains but they don't have private coupes , vending machines or shower rooms which is my biggest disappointment
I really love how there is no background music.. normally the music gets pretty annoying after some time, but like this it felt like being in the moment.
i so agree with you. i cant watch and listen to an youtuber when there's background music. It is nice to just listen to the person talk without any background music.
Usually it's getting trapped in a nuclear reactor or some sort of fancy high tech gas chamber, but getting trapped in the self cleaning shower on a sleeper train when it starts it's cycle would be the naffest superhero origin story.

It is unbelievable to see how there still exist people who do give a high price to cleanliness and respect towards the others. The author shows every time in his videos for example that after having a shower, the place must get cleaned for the next client. Or “say thank you to the driver”. He appreciates the pillow for being soft! I know persons who would always find a reason to criticize everything. One of my goals in life is to take a trip in Japan on a train like this! It’ll probably never happen bc I live so far away and I’d have to take a 10 hour plane ride just to get to Japan. But I still like to dream!

The space looks cramped at first, but you can see that it is well thought out and very well laid out. I love the self service beforehand and the fact that the ticket prices are in different currencies to get an idea of the cost.

Very relaxing video to watch. I’ve been on sleeper trains in other countries but never in Japan. Impressed by how clean and beautiful it is even after 25 years of service. Here in Italy the trains are an hour late, or sometimes even more and we don't have these types of trains with beds and all. ..... And I was surprised, at everything about that train, especially the shower! I like very much your content!

If you're in America then I'd suggest you look up Amtrek, it's just as good and you'll get some of the best views in America during your 3 day journey from New York to Los Angeles.
I live in Israel, and Sunrise Express makes our trains look like a joke. The sheer contrast in every aspect is too wide. These look so comfortable and amazing.

I honestly think I would just sit there with the light off so that I could watch the nightlife of Japan drift by - it looks stunning!

I love your videos to relax myself, I travel sometimes in ferrys and trains here in Spain but we don’t have the choices that Japan and other countries can offer. Love your way to record because all the sounds about. I think this is gonna be one of my favs channels ever

back then, i was soo frustrated about travelling around japan, but watching your videos had taught me about all the trains and bus that includes special rooms / sets so passengers can rest overnight! it really encourages me to travel to different countries

Very relaxing video to watch. I’ve been on sleeper trains in other countries but never in Japan. Impressed by how clean and beautiful it is even after 25 years of service. I love the shower car and how it self cleans. Wish I could travel to Japan again, go from place to place on the trains and enjoy train bentos.

I live over here in America :( but I want to travel to Japan so bad!! Especially to take that Train ride, I know I would have so much fun and it looked like an amazing and beautiful experience!
If you're in America then I'd suggest you look up Amtrek, it's just as good and you'll get some of the best views in America during your 3 day journey from New York to Los Angeles.
I enjoyed this video immensely. Was amazed at the all the extras that are offered. Everything looked so clean as well.
I live in Israel, and Sunrise Express makes our trains look like a joke. The sheer contrast in every aspect is too wide. These look so comfortable and amazing.
