  • Jordan and Noah move the goats after being in this paddock for 2 days. They did an excellent job of taking out invasive species and eating bark off of cedar, maple trees! They’re always happy to be moved!

It's not taking long to train the goats to move, but they are slow to go under the fence. That's probably good. They are doing a great job

As with pigs Doug. Pigs will under no circumstances cross under a live wire.

all your neighbors are gonna want you to clear brush for them. 😆 those goats are awesome at clearing brush!

Training them to cross under a wire could be counter productive. You might be better leaving one end of the wire open and moving them through, then closing the wire behind them.

I seen Habig live stock doing it, they run alot of goats and do alot of moves, didn't seem to be a problem

Yeah I get what your saying. It could be a training way for them to think they can go under wire always but the herd of goats I’ve been running for 2 years I’ve done that way and it seems ok. As long as we keep them full and keep them moving they don’t have a reason to try super hard to get out.
