    Wow, you sure jumped feet first into the sheep business!!! Very awesome, hair sheep are definitely a little brighter than your average wool sheep intelligence wise.

      That’s what I hear. I’m definitely excited to work with this group this year. Just so we can have a successful lambing season will be the main thing. Have a great day!

    You sure don't do things halfway. I see a fair amount of nice sheep in there with some thin ones, some rough ones. Will be interesting to see how you cull and select in the future. - Peter

    Hi Jordan, good thing you didn't film the second load of Sheep as it was dark and we couldn't see much anyway. It was interesting on the little Black Lamb that ran up to you that it had White on the bottom of one paw. The color patterns are always interesting to see. That one Sheep was very clever to catch the nice fresh water coming out of the tank and the others weren't. Hope the Sheep and Goats survive the cold especially with most of the winter being warmer than normal.
    Glad you filmed the cow milking as variety keeps things interesting.

    Jordan: "I am looking to buy some sheep."
    Seller: "Well sir, how many are you looking for?"
    Jordan: "All of them.... I want to buy all the sheep! Every single sheep there is," True story.

    That's tough conditions to be lambing in. When do you want to lamb next year?

    What a fantastic thumbnail!!! Good luck with your new herd. Too bad they are already lambing, cause those temps are brutal for newborn lambs.

      Yeah that part is rough. Luckily temps look good for the next 2 weeks. So hopefully we’ll get the next flush of lambs up and going good during this warmer window. Have a nice day!

    I’ve been unrolling hay for years Sometimes it’s still a challenge to get the spears to hit the center of the bale.

    That’s a pile of sheep! Very cool to see…thanks for sharing. How do you plan to market them?

    • @WholesomeFamilyFarms
      @WholesomeFamilyFarms  6 месяцев назад +2

      We plan to sell some ewe lambs to people who either wanna add to their herds or else simply sell them at the sale barn. Might also direct market some lamb. Have a nice Sunday!

    I didn’t watch whole video yet, but did the goats go? Reason for switching to the sheep?

    • @WholesomeFamilyFarms
      @WholesomeFamilyFarms  6 месяцев назад +1

      Nope the goats are here to stay so are the sheep! I’ve been running a lot of numbers on the most profitable enterprises to run on grazing and sheep are up there!
