Love seeing those goats digging for feed!!👍🏼👍🏼. It’s amazing how well they do in “harsh” conditions if given the opportunity. Their condition looks great! Well done Jordan👍🏼👍🏼👊🏻👊🏻
Hi Jordan, interesting fact about the Urine and Dung from the Goats being most nourishing to the soil when fresh. It seems like farmers that have to large Manure Pits and spread it on their fields loose a lot of nutrient content when doing that. It makes sense and it works out best when the animals are out on pasture and not enclosed in buildings.
Yeah it makes a lot of sense when you think about it too. And another thing too when most farmers are spreading manure they’re spreading it or even injecting it back in where nothing is growing. That makes it hard for the soil to hold on to the nutrients as well.
No such as wasted hay for sure out on pastures like that. Plus goats are exceedingly picky eating hay. We started running some ewes with them cause they would paw that hay around a bit and get a little more eaten up out of it.

Thanks Brett! It’s been crazy weather that’s for sure! One extreme to the next! Have a great day!
I love your channel as well. These two channels are informative and fun to watch.
I'm really enjoying your videos.
I really appreciate that! Have a great week!
Never seen goats so well kept and trained to wire !!
* Simplified regenerative herding, very effective.
They offer their fair share of challenges still 😊
