I currently have this device and it is awesome it gets timely updates and I recently just picked up the new Moto 2024 edge which is very similar except it's got the curved screen along with the same 68 w turbo charging capability
I don't like the shenanigans google/alphabet have been up to so I think I'm done with Pixel phones and google products in general. I think my next phone will be a Moto, either thinkphone or Edge + in 2024. Great video BTW.
So after watching your review would you say that the think phone is on par with a galaxy 24 not the ultrs but the 24 or the apple 14 based upon price point. Keep in mind what those other devices clst new and on the secondary market. Not everyone has 1k or more to purchase a device. Me personally i should have never sold my V60 or i wluld still be rocking that phone here in 2025 look forward to the response
3:35 For future knowledge any Snapdragon processor is a flagship phone. Anything above Snapdragon 800's and up. Just cuz its older doesn't mean its not flagship.. You lost me there.
Hi , I'd like to see the process of connecting the phone to an external Display Please .. I see a lot with the phone connecting to PC with APP ... iId just like to know how it works with a simple external monitor . Thanks
Those are flagship specs bro. Its a snapdragon 8 PLUS Gen 1. Wich is comparable to the 8 gen 2. Motorola has always made good phones for cheap but to call that a midrange phone is crazy. Appreciate the vid tho...
Small correction. The chipset in the Lenovo ThinkPhone has a Snapdragon 8(+) Gen 1. Still, for someone who hates android with every fiber of my being I couldn’t help but to pick this phone up. Trust me, that phone doesn’t need a case on it. It’s a beast. Cameras are still slightly above average but the 144Hz refresh rate (which is about a 120Hz when compared with Apple’s ProMotion display) still, it’ll also receive more frequent updates from Android OS 13 up until Android 16 (3) full years of software updates (which is insane considering the extremely sorry and painfully inconsistent update line of the past E and G series devices) which only (maybe) gives you a single software update with (maybe) 3 years of security patches that may or may not arrive two months after initial release. This device also doesn’t have (nearly) as much bloatware apps preinstalled in the UI. But it wasn’t enough to get me to switch from Apple. So I’ll be selling mine. It is the best android device I’ve ever owned in.. ever. Only trade off is the mediocre camera quality.

With HTC and LG out of the game, I switched to Motorola, and I love it. So much bang for your buck. I want this phone SO BADLY, but I just know the Edge Plus 2023 is going to drop to half price this Summer as the 2022 Plus did last year when I bought that phone, so I just need to wait a few more months. I love my Plus 2022, but it's the most fragile phone I have ever owned, and I was forced to put a case on it (I never used a case on my HTCs or LGs), and the Thinkphone's supposed "ruggedness" is another reason why I want to buy one so badly. But, I most likely will just say "Fuck it" and buy the Thinkphone anyway, and then turn around and buy the Plus 2023 this Summer if/when it's half off.
To your knowledge, does Motorola have a 2024 version of the ThinkPhone, or is this still the '23 model (....nothing wrong with the '23 model, I just took it for granted that Motorola would have a '24 model by now)??
Unfortunately there won't be a gen 2 of the think phone. Going to either buy the think phone or the nothing phone 2a next month. The think for has to be the best bang for your buck for phones 400 besides getting a deal on either razr. That sd7gen1 is snappy and smooth operating with 8gb of ram.
Great review. The thinkphone has been a great pickup. I don't think you can find a better device for under $400. Although Motorola can keep READY FOR in exchange for. . always on display IR blaster second space And better haptics. I get that it's meant for work but they'd sell a helluva lot more units with the features I listed.
@@JuleonTechReviews yes, for the money the camera is more than adequate. The 2x digital zoom is the downfall but hey the ultawide is actually very good as is the low light photos. Pro mode is a nice feature that I'm enjoying.
This phone doesna screen quality, the screen is very bright and very color accurate.. It has the snapdragon 8+gen1 which is much better than the snapdragon 8gen1. They use Samsung nodes for 8gen1.. Huge mistake so they went back to their roots, hence the 8+gen1. Much better in everything

These are good reviews and videos
SD 8 gen 1 plus (like the gen 1 but without the overheating issues)
@@oriaker also much better battery efficiency and subtain performance
Never thought I would have so much fun in watching this
Lenovo owns both the Thinkpad and the Motorola company. Thus, making this weird collab between these subsidiaries of Lenovo possible.
Thanks that's right.
I think it's about time for me to get a Motorola edge Plus this is an 😊 amazing phone
The edge plus is awesome, I have both.

@CinHalCedHerChance yeah thanks. Loving Sony so far
By far the most underrated phone 2024.
Absolutely
You don't need that much ram.. It has really fast ram! This is truly an amazing phone. Snapdragon 8+gen1 has very good memory management
Yes there's no slow downs at all
And so far in 2025 lol. I just grabbed a mint one for $240.
That’s dope. And a steal

That's a fair point
At the time of release...this was a flagship phone. Not a mid range phone. Second generation Gen 1 chip was not mid range.
That's true. Love this phone

I do agree it has flag ship specs for the time but it feels like it's lacking overall. I love it though
only reason they selling for mid range price is because they did not sell well in the corpro world.
