It's Aramid Fiber on the back, not just plastic.

Got this phone about a week ago. To replace my aging Motorola G7 play. I'm very pleased. Setting it up was really easy. Used the cable that came in the box for the charger. To connect to my old phone. Transfered most everything over. I had a SD memory card in my old phone. The think phone doesn't have that. But, it has 256 GB of memory. I purchased a adapter that the SD card goes in. It has a short cord that plugs into the charging port. I could then transfer everything in folders on the Think phone. After transferring everything. I used 41 GB of the 256 GB memory. That includes the operating systems for the phone. I can't imagine using all the 215GB thats left. Next i swapped the SIM card from my old phone. Bingo! I was up and running. Over the next few days the phone updated several times. Including getting Android 14. The Think phone is lightening fast! Not sure if it's because it's a 5G phone or the processor, Etc. But everything is pretty much instantaneous! Moving around the net. Loading files. Just like you would want it to be. If your considering it. I believe you'll be pleased!!

    Nice review.
I've had it since December and its a very smooth operator. I44hz refresh rate is nice.
    Cons
    No always on display
    No second space
    No IR blaster
    Subpar haptics
Camera isn't as sharp as my pixel 7 but its adequate. Night shots are actually pretty good as are ultrawide shots. The 2x digital zoom can be very grainy and is the weakest link.
You can't get a better phone for under $400
This thing handles games with no issues unlike the pixel 7.
My favorite features though have been the ANTIFLICKER, night light, and extra dimming features. Really reduces eye strain while watching at night.
Fast charging is life changing and most people in the US have no idea what they're missing.
Thinkphone is a beast. I bought 3 of them during the holidays and everyone loves it.
Additionally it has absolutely zero bezels. I mean seriously this phone is all screen

Just got mine after seeing the $399 price! Great phone, but after sitting in a box for some time the battery was at zero % and after plugging it in, it did not show a charge above zero even after 20 min of charging. Worried the phone was bricked. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and then is showed a charge. What a great phone. Too bad they marketed it wrong to only business customers. What an awesome device though. Been using it for a week and completely satisfied.

Ordered mine today from Amazon. Seems like the perfect answer to OnePlus (in regards to the fast charging and processing power) camera looks like it'll leave a little to be desired, but ask me how often I use my camera. It isn't very often

I got this phone through Lenovo last year for 500. Great phone, great design, fast, and perfect screen size in the hand. Just had a bad mic when recording so I sent it in and never got it back... It was my fault I put the wrong label on it. Wish I had it now :/

The back of the phone is Kevlar (Aramid Fiber) and meets mil specs for drop resistance. I've been using it without a case, carry it in my pocket with other things, and have dropped it and it still looks like it just came out of the box. The back does get smeared from hand oils, but a quick wipe (even on my shirt - LOL) and they come right off.

    • @nikos-giorgos
      @nikos-giorgos 3 месяца назад

It's drop resistant, so it won't be easy to break but it's not scratch resistant.

The bigger the screen the better. I would love to have a fold but they are a rip-off.
I have a hard time justifying more than 1500 to 2,000 on a cell phone that I'll probably only use for 2 years.
When you work it out, mathematically LOTS of people are paying more for your cell phone then an 8K 100' OLED TV.
Think about it. $1,000 per year on a cell phone VS $5000 for a TV that lasts you 5 years.
    *OR*
    $4/day on a Starbucks coffee = $3000 over 2 years.
