Laios brought up the horse as a reason for why the "griffin" kept coming after them because it was actually a Hippogriff that wanted to mate with it lol
how Laios brought it up is normal in the neurodivergent community. he was following a train of logic with many stops. he knew what the problem was, why Senshi was upset and how to solve it. unfortunately often when we try to convey it, there is miscommunication. luckily they listened which is not something we all get.
There was SO much dialogue in this episode, its sad how much they had to cut but they still stayed on track. Little details like the Dwarves stealing food from orcs in the dungeon get missed, some of the little one liners, gah youve got to read the manga. The changling mushroom scenes have a lot more little goofs.. man they even cut the ending song to make more room for the episode in this one lol. And is episode 24 gonna be the last one this season? Oof. What a way to make everyone read the manga before season 3 😂

It's always off-putting whenever Laios just blurts out indifferent remarks, but then shows that he's just being logically sympathetic and perceptive of others to provide actual solutions to the other's problems. But yeah, his poor choice of words and timing always make him capable of being misunderstood. Actually reminded me of a highschool friend who used to be about 80% Laios in terms of reading the room.

They missed a few scenes such as where they got the food given to the Senshi and about how people trying to overcome the Changeling effect in the past.

this episode feels like trigger ran out of budget , a lot of still images , i dont have much problem with the story , its just that i thought they would extend senshi backstory a bit more with animation like animated the griffin attacking the dwarfs or extend howthey are lost in the dungeon a bit or more animation when laios fight the gargoyles...
