Keep it simple and affordable. It’s a utility knife.
Fr they be buy the most expensive shit for no reason
@@LILICEg52 sure it’s for a reason it’s called a hobby
@@Stassa23 it’s not called hobby it’s called you the reason why tools are expensive and knives are expensive because y’all just want to collect them and have them lock in a drawer never to be seen again till you need to make a new vid again
@@LILICEg52 you obviously don’t watch my videos because you would know I use my shit. That’s how the world works it’s called supply and demand 👍
@@LILICEg52 and yes it’s called a hobby 👍
I carry that OTF everyday at work! Great utility knife that's never failed me. Have a Milwaukee Fastback for backup just incase it does fail me😅
I just ordered the otf for work! Can't wait to use it!
Reate exo U is my new go to for Utilty knives! Love it!
Pricey? Yes for a utility knife, practical? Not the most, is it fun? By far my favorite knife to fidget with 🤌🏼🤌🏼
Definitely all I carry. I have a pretty extensive collection of them (300+) fell in love with them a few years ago searching for minimalist setups and haven't looked back since!
Milwaukee fastback all the way pocket clip and can store 5 extra blades all you will ever need
Facts! Can’t beat the button lock
It looks like crap
Some people love that basic crappy look.
And has the bit driver!
I like the Milwaukee brand one a lot. Pocket clip, one hand opening and close. Nice knife.
Got to agree with you on the Exceed Designs TIRANT RAZOR V3. I use it at work sites... Great EDC utility knife.
Mine hasn't left my pocket since i got it 13 months ago. I mean it, i carried it every single day
Ignore the haters my friend. I personally like watching your videos & shorts. Nice to have other people with similar hobbies
Been using the reata exo u for about a month now I love it
Carry the palmer everyday in the grey wolf pocket organizer
i haven’t tried an edc utility knife but my favorite utility knife is an older design the “shark knife”. it doesn’t open or close but you use a sheath instead and it’s really good. you can extend the blade a little further than on most utility knives and it’s really ergonomic and the sheath it great for working with if you’re doing roofing or flooring or something that requires a lot of rough cutting
That titanium one is something I've been wanting to try forever
I love my TiRant Razor V2. I hate sharpening my regular knives, so I use this way more than I thought I would. Might pick up a V3 soon.
The less weight the better for my edc. Inexpensive also helps since they are easy to lose or to get confiscated by TSA when I forget to take the blade out before flying. Mossy Oak sells a pair of folding utility blades for ~$13 that have been great.
5th pocket OG TPT from big idea. I’ve used them all and always go back to the TPT it’s just so simple it’s impossible not to love. Plus I’m a huge fan of no moving parts.
Hey Stassa I just ordered the otf utility razor for work cuz I scratched my Kizer Genie blade from trying to take the tape off with an abrasive sponge so this otf will be perfect for work. Keep up the great content you and Neevesknives are my favorite youtubers❤
Love the sliding gold one! Wish I had one like it for work!
Had one a long time ago. Lost it. Never thought about it again.
Big idea design tpt slide is in my pocket all day everyday. It’s perfect.
I carry the Oknife Otacle U1 utility folder for tape. While working overnight stocking, i learned just how much tape can ruin cutting performance once it gets on there a fair bit. I carry small fixed blades for messy tasks, & folders for hardware tasks (both moderns & traditionals as they fill in this role similarly, but traditionals for both the aesthetic appreciation of knives when i can & for when im indoors around people who may freak out over knives. And then modern folders, which are usually dark blades if im outside the house so they are the least amount reflective in sunlight as possible, for efficiency in high speed/one-handed situations.
I am considering the Tirant Razor V2 in carbon fiber, as the shoulders of the blade holder on the otacle U1 impedes the cutting through of materials if im using it to cut more than just tape & the Tirant does not have those shoulders on the front half of the blade.
I carry a ruk v3 every day! You should definitely check them out!
Love my Tirant. Use it for work everyday.
Definitely got to have a pocket clip. I edc one at work. When I switch to non work edc i keep one in the edc backpack. They are awesome. Anytime you think you could possibly damage your knife you use the utility knife. Cause you can switch it in less than 30seconds
I really wat a Serge but mostly just because its a serge. I have the tirant and i love it. I have an otf as well and it is fun.
I only have the Gerber one. Thinking about getting the new Civivi one.
Milwaukee Fastback FTW
I have 2 of these..but rarely carry em...they live in the garage
Would be great to have rhe names in the pinned comments!
I carry one with me at work every day. Right now I have the fastback that is my beater abs a chub from Chaves that’s my light package opener. That exceed design folder is one I’m going to need to buy now though lol. I love the entire design.
I’ve been thinking about getting a Chub they look sweet 🍻🍻
getting the exceed design. want the serge panchenko, but $$$
Milwaukee fastback for me! I’m a plumber, my utility blade will sometimes be in contact with poop and waste water, so I couldn’t justify spending too much on it but still wanted quality.
Try The gerber prybrid and The gerber prybrid x
I prefer the old (no longer produced) stanley cast metal quickslide (grey body and black steel bottle opener front with the rear carabiner clip for belt carry.
I would carry one, it would have to be one like that Ti flipper.
Did you see civivis one they came out with it's nice and has about 90 percent of the blade exposed
If You have a good quality steel it will take forever for Your knife to get dull. I have a Ultratech that I would edc for work and I used it everyday I would even stab it through our wood vaults I liked that its a little thicker like a little pry bar and It took a year before I had to sharpen it. But it’s whatever people prefer some people don’t like or know how to sharpen their knives.
I carry a button lock husky at work and only for dumb things that I don't want to mess my knife up lol
Thing about utility knives is yes while they are razor sharp due to the razor blade the blade is extremely delicate and too much cutting or pressure even slightly will break the blade
Milwaukee Fastback in 5th pocket carry
I have to have a pocket clip. I would use them just as you. Your most carried is also mine, and I would carry the otf
I wish the Milwaukee fastback had a tip up cary pocket clip
What's the black scalpel one and orange one?
I use a Higonokami; I have a collection but the SK base model is my daily I can sharpen it and beat on it, I’d be interested to try one of these and see if it’s viable for my work 😮
If you need a utility knife just get a Milwaukee. Less than 20 bucks for the knife and 75 blades.
👊
I carry Milwaukee fastback
which model is the one with the long utility blade and black handle? (name)
I don’t usually interact with videos past watching them, but for you? I’ll go the extra mile to like and turn on notifications

I don't need the pocket clip, but im left handed, so a lot of designs won't work for me. I really like utility knives for travel or tool bags, but not for typical edc when I could have a knife instead.
I still always have a knife on me, I just use the razor knife when I’m cutting stuff that will destroy a knife blade or if I need something that slices better than the knife I’m carrying 🍻🍻
Can I ask what band is the black flipper with the Japanese style kraft blade on it?
I'll just get the knife u can change blades on that is pretty much a razor but better
What is the black one with the different blade shape?
I carry a utility knife as our rules are tough
Pointless when folders exist
Nah I use them when It would destroy my knife blade or whatever I am cutting up nasty stuff so I can just toss the blade and I also use them when I need a blade that slices better than what I’m carrying
Black flipper name?
Titaner Raven I linked it in the description and pinned it in the comments 👍🍻🍻
What otf utility knife is that?
I don't use them unless it's something nasty im cutting and throw the blade away afterwards.
My main use as well sometimes I use them when I need a better slicer than what I am carrying 👍🍻🍻
Standard/compact fast back are perfect just stay away for crappy diy versions
Utility knives are the only knives that I hate!
I hate my tpt slide. Straight garbage, waste of $85. Would gladly rock any of these bad boys over my stupid tpt
Supreme? 😬
I say keep it simple and just carry a normal knife
would you sell that james brand?
Any chance you want to sell that supreme James brand?
Cutting up boxes and opening packages is the only exercise most “knife people” give their knives. Why take away the knife’s only opportunity to be used by carrying a utility blade.
Because for me that’s not the case and I choose to carry one from time to time when I think I maybe cutting stuff that is nasty or something that will destroy a knife blade as well as something that I need a knife that slice’s better than the one I have but your definitely correct most only use their knives for boxes and packages and some just to pull out of a safe from time to time and fondle it and all of that is fine with me we all like knives for different purposes and carry them for different purposes as well so I’m good with it 🍻🍻
@@Stassa23 Nick I know you are in the camp of serious knife users. The cut testing, recommendations, exposure to new knives etc. that we get on this channel is the best on this platform. Shamefully I was probably speaking for myself. Although I will always ask “how’s the cuttin’” before “how’s the action,” I have more of a limited amount of opportunities to use the knives. I’m not in an office but I work in a science lab and there are sometimes good opportunities to use my blades to cut tubes, ropes, straps, and those sorts of things but it isn’t often. So for me, the utility blade would take those opportunities away. There are some really cool ones, I like Serge Panchenko’s in particular. That said, to each their own, and always use the tool that is best fit for the job. Thanks again
