Bosch Serie 4 Dishwasher Review

- In this video I review the functions and features of the Bosch Serie 4 Dishwasher. I've know owned this dishwasher for over 18 months and it has worked flawlessly since making this video. I however, later work out that the middle draw is indeed height adjustable!
Keep an eye out for our follow up review video after almost 15 months using this appliance coming in early 2019.

Bought the serie 4 for my moms hous after waching this review, must say you were spot on with the review, so thanks for the great video. The only thing you forgot to add (or maybe i didnt hear it) is that the middle tray has tabs on the sides so you can lower it if you have higher glasses

You need rinse aid and dishwasher salt because I noticed that the warning lights were on when you were filming. don't forget dishwasher salt and rinse aid .

This model has auto load sensor so it automatically run for the need.

Is the diswasher alive, i bought this model 2019.
Sir can you please measure and tell me the inner depth of the cutlery tray ,both middle part of cutlery tray (third rack)and sides of cutlery tray ,so i can check how many of my smaller utensils like small bowls and espresso cups fit there as i use mostly small items in my dishwasher and it can help me in making a decision weather to upgrade to 3 rack one or not.
Unfortunately I no longer have this dishwasher as I have since moved house with an integrated appliance. The dimensions should be listed on the manufacturer's website though

What I like about it that there is symbol indicating it needs rinser or dishwater powder
I had an old machine at home. Cleaned everything. Bought this one and while the savings are impressive... it doesn't clean. At all. It's like the machine is designed to save energy instead of cleaning. And, as it doesn't clean, I end up, after the cycle, to have to do half the dishes by hand. Ridiculous.
I have one like this. The user manual is extremely lacking. Bosch get your act together. So now I’m stuck on RUclips trying to get information that SHOULD have been included in any manual. IKEA has WAY better manuals than Bosch. Omg so frustrating.

Timmy Bright It cleans very well, but to this day, that top cutlery rack and shallow top shelf cause me problems. I’ll be speaking about it more in the next review coming soon, but if you can live with that, it’s a perfectly good dish washer.
@@ThatBeardedGuy But I believe the top cutlery rack is height adjustable, so why do you call it shallow?
Timmy Bright I much prefer dishwashers with a cutlery basket, because with this one, you have to spent time arranging the cutlery correctly. It’s the drawer below which is shallow so you can’t put tall glasses in because of the cutlery tray above. Hope this helps!

You'd think an important factor when it comes to a dishwasher is "does it clean the dishes well ?". The answer is no. This is the worst dishwasher I've ever owned in my life as it considers distributing evenly food waste on my dishes as "cleaning". It is a terrible, non functional product but of course the only way to realize that would be for you to, I don't know like test it ?! Like if this was a review of some sort ?!
You are recommending an objectively bad product and this is not a "review", it's a tour of the most basic aspects of it at best..
I totally agree, I also thought that's something wrong with mine as some of the dishes on the bottom rack are coming out unwashed completely and then sometime on the upper rack there is bits of food stuck on the mugs and even spoons come out dirty. Its nuts considering that's Bosch. We had an old Tricity Bendix which was doing much better than this one. Frankly disappointed. Yes, I do regular filter cleaning.
