The video turned out lovely! Thanks Freddie for all the kindness and support ❤
Cool place you have there.
lovely place you have, best of luck 🙂
Your shop looks brilliant Thomas and I wish you all the very best with it.
Your shop looks amazing and I’ll be sure to go out of my way to make a visit when I’m next in Europe. Good luck with your new venture.
Best of Luck with your store.Really nice.👌
The biking culture all over Europe is pretty diverse & I'm happy to have a glimpse of the same through the channel ❤
Many thanks for signing my Royal Enfield (the one in the store)
It was weird to see you drive in the town where I grew up!
My pleasure:) We meant to chat about your Interceptor and after filming was done, I realised we forgot!
Beautiful bike🖤
Back in the days when F1 was quite interesting, Spa was one of my favourite tracks because of its elevations, its proximity to the UK and its rain which was often a leveller. Nice film, you're selling the low countries very well.
I got an impression of the elevations and very changeable weather of the area- and beautiful unspoilt surroundings👌🏻 Thanks!
How wonderful to see people working hard to bring us something good. Best wishes from me, thank you
What a fantastic biker shop, hope he does well😍
Agreed! I wish I lived nearby because I would totally check it out and maybe nab a shirt or riding jacket.
0:02 Hi. Freddie! Nice Video. It's so strange to me seeing you 20 miles away from my home town Aachen (Germany). It's really a pleasure to be in the EU and to get around the beautiful country side of 3 different nations with their especially cultures, food, architecture without border control an those things. To see my neighborhood or "hometown" (B, NL, D, L) through your perspective is real fascinating. Thank you for that and bon voyage! 😅✌️👍👋
Couldn’t agree more: Euro trips are incredible because you can experience so many cultures within such close proximity with total ease. I LOVE it!:)
Such a tragedy that we left the European Union where we had the opportunity to freely travel work and live in such fabulous places.
100% agree with you. I find it very sad. Tomas was a great guy. Of course we can still visit. Just returned from a tour of Brittany. It doesn't feel the same though, now that we are no longer EU citizens. What was it all for...
Ahhhh I know
This is why we love you Dobbs, you're so positive.
It might be "a prison cell with carpets" in the murder centre of Antwerp but it's only £41 per night and highly recommended.
I'm guessing the £1 was for the water?
I didn’t think about this, but the £1 was probably for water😆
Lovely shop. Hope it does well.
Those countryside scenes look like they haven't changed in about 100 years!
It’s amazing🖤
@@FreddieDobbs it looks the same as when I was last in the area 36 years ago!
Thanks, Freddie, for another great video. Really interesting and wonderful places. It's total escapism for me watching. 👍
Thanks very much, Garry! Really glad you enjoyed it
Freddie, just shows you haven't got to break the bank to enjoy motorcycle touring.
Another great video. Keep them coming.
I love your road trips…thank you 👍
I'm glad you like it in Belgium.. it's pretty nice in the countryside.. smaller city's and villages. 🙏
I loved it and agree- the countryside and smaller towns/villages are the real beauty spots🖤
@FreddieDobbs and you and your bike fit well in the image you are creating for us.. almost as if we're there with you... almost 🤔😉
What a great guy Thomas is, good luck to him. Thanks for sharing!
Freddie. You and Monika should open up a bike shop. His and hers clothing, accessories and serve good coffee cakes and pastries! Your platform im sure would bring many customers 👌🏻
But that would mean giving up the freedom that they now have.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. You speak like a poet.. 😊 lovely videos!!
I love to see these entrepreneurs who leave comfortable jobs to live their passions! Besides the shop looks great, especially if they have Libertatia products…😀👏🏻
Love your travels and vids Freddie - how about some map screenshots for us guys that like maps and pins 👍🙄👍
Very good point- I’ll make sure to do this for the next video
Oh... I really should have watched the whole video before commenting... UK subscriber... I've had 47 bikes in total since I was 16 and counting and two of them were LS650 Suzuki Savages... such an underrated bike...
It's the middle of the rainy season in Thailand, so all I can do is watch others riding their motorcycles!
If I had only know! That's about 10 minutes from where I live man! Damn....😊 As always a great video!👍
One cool dude ,wish him well .
You should open a coffee/bike shop Freddie
A great video Freddie, I wish Thomas all the best for the future with his new business. Safe travels and as always I look forward to your next video and podcast.
Just found your channel. I saw u riding in the street i work in Antwerpen that morning but now way i knew it was you! And now it hits me… thats was you!!
Btw the area at the central station is like that but most places ate wat more safe and chill.
Thx to you i found out about that shop!
Safe travels and stay out of the ditches!
A wee jewell of a café/shop. Great video Freddie
Thanks Maurice!
If I, as a german ,could give you a recommindation: Drive to Monschau :)
I’ll save this, thank very much!
Another interesting journey and meandering the lanes near Antwerp .Good luck to the guy opening the bike cafe 👍
Thats so insane that shop litterly is like 5min from my home i should visit it someday. Lovely video i enjoyed it
What a lovely shop, it's great to see places like this thriving and bringing together bikers in a common cause. Thre are so many beautiful roads and places to travel in europe, thanks for taking us with you, a lovely relaxing watch as always. A great day on the road is always so relaxing too.
The store is stunning. You cannot beat the independent retailer. Perfect outlet for your merchandise Freddie. As always, great video, very enjoyable. 😊
Great to see Maastricht again, it is over 30 years since I have been there. I had a Dutch fiancé who was living there and so I used to spend a lot of time in that beautiful town.
What a lovely shop and a nice bloke. I hope his business goes from strength to strength.
Mate a fantastic shop , and a 2021 Moto Guzzi 100th Anniversary model “ same as mine in Australia “ . He has great taste in bikes , and a fantastic shop idea 💡 👍
Fantastic Bike shop!
Thanks for the little tour around the shop. Just sold my motorbike but expect to have a new one shortly. And then I will make a trip to Motoccino and do some shopping. Thanks to you and Monica for all your lovely ‘documentaries’ 🙂
Excellent as always Freddie. Once again I'm very jealous of how easy it is to visit multiple countries in Europe in a few short days.
Welcome in Antwerp, yes it gets lively and noisy after a certain hour on a daily basis btw. Looking forward to see the Luxemburg vid since we also frequently visit that, two weeks from now we will be there again. Oh nice tip on the Motocino. Been looking for that for some while now in our country without succes until this video, thanks for that Freddie. Keep it up.
Thanks very much, Tom!
This was a delight to watch. Thanks for taking us with you on your trip.
Thanks Freddie, it looks a lovely part of the world.
Great video, Good luck to Thomas and Motoccino!. Looking forward to the next video to see some of the area.
That's one interesting looking Transalp over there!
By the way, I owe the discovery of this channel to Honda Transalp, your review of which I watched a year ago and loved it.
Thomas seems great and he's got a lovely business starting there. I hope it does really well for him, and perhaps, Freddie, you can visit again in a year or two's time and see how things have grown.
100%, I’ll make sure I pop in again in a few months:)
I completely understand it’s difficult to compete with the large companies/corporations, but it’s always good to see the young entrepreneurs giving it their best. Looked like a great ride into Northern Europe..
Nice bike wear shop and credence Clearwater revival on the radio. Lovely 😊
Well done again Freddie lovely country and thank you to a true free spirit 😎
What a great shop Thomas, good luck. Freddie, great video as usual. Keep up the good work.
Eek. For Freddie and anyone else fancying a ride to beautiful Belgium at 23:40 , that’s priorité a droite: could have been an accident, they often don’t even look before pulling out.
Love the Derny Bike. I've never ridden one, but watching the Keirin race in a velodrome (Melbourne Victoria, Australia) is a highlight of any indoor cycling event. Brilliant. All the best. I wish i had the style and finance to open a similar store... Love it. Muz from Oz
Great video going to see if that little shop will ship to the USA
I stumbled upon his store by accident a few weeks ago. Really nice shop and great guy!
It’s a brilliant addition to the area👌🏻
Visit the memorial to the Malmedy Massacre. Chilling tail.
Ride safe 👍
Piper got away with it till his identity exposed living in France I believe. Died in his house fire. Gun in hand apparently.
Wow, I’d never heard of this but will google it now. Thank you
Hi Freddie. Belgium and Luxembourg are two of my favourite countries. Many old classic cars around I’ve had many a happy slightly drunken nights in Maastricht. 😁😁
Ty for this amazing tour!!!
What a great shop, I hope he does well in the future. I went to Maastricht and nearby Valkenburg many years ago to see The World Championship Road Race (cycle).
Lovely video! It gives me hope to not move from Belgium to another country like Spain or Portugal. Belgium is really beautiful but it rains a lot. Next time you have to set a meeting with all your fans and followers from here. It would be awesome.
Many Dutch doubt whether the Province of Limburg and it's capital Maastricht is Dutch too.
Interesting!😳
Freddie when you are in Luxembourg or even heading back home head towards Bastogne in Belgium. You have to stop at Esch-sur-sure in Luxembourg and check out nearby the High chaparal a very popular motorcycle hang out. It is well worth it, I have been going every year for the last 10 years. You will love the accommodation at the High Chaparral.
Couldn't believe that you missed to talk about Royal Enfield Interceptor at the store....my heartfelt good wishes for Motoccino. 🎉
I said to myself “bugger” after filming, because I realised we forgot to mention the interceptor!
I rode through Luxembourg a long time ago. Three gear changes and you're through it. Great Moto retro clothes shop. I like this TA. Ditto the North of Berlin jacket. That Suzuki Savage is the business. I may order some stuff from this guy. I'm sure he'll post to Portugal. Nick
Putting the spot on my “places to visit”. Good luck 💪
Another Awesome vid from Freddie.Always great content in his vids.👌
Hi Freddie. I’m a regular visitor to Belgium. I’ll definitely visit this place
I do love the look of the North Of Berlin waxed jackets, I might try to get one of these..
I love taking a ride through Belgium especially through the Ardennes is a dream for motorcyclists! I think there is no Netherland sign when you crossing from Belgium to The Netherlands at Maastricht, as I always try to spot it unsuccessfully. I love hanging around South Limburg and also the Eifel. Btw. Kreidler is a German brand. They made a lot of 25cc an 50 cc mopeds. Thomas’ shop is cool. Neither know the brand North Berlin. Need to check out! ❤
Very nice video, as always, Freddie. But I would like to point out that you took the right of way from the black SUV at 28:38. The triangular sign with the black X means: Give way. If a less attentive driver is in the car, this could quickly lead to an accident.
I’ve just got back from Maastricht great place to visit and friendly people
Great to see you in my area around Malmedy…a great spot for motorcyclists during weekends! You could have by the way tried to get in touch with a great motor designer not far from there (Fred Krugger)…pleasure discovering Motoccino even though not so close to east Belgium (which remains a village)! Good way south and back home ✌️
23:39 Freddie, the car had the right of way bacuse he came from the right. The sign with the X means its a dangerous crossing. In thase case, thats caused because they made the street feel like you had right of way, but its not the case.
If the car crashed into you, you would have been liable.
Great video, ever since you got your bike back, the content has really improved.
Cool shop, cool guy. I wish him well for the future 🤙
Very nice video once again !
By the way: did you know that the red triangle sign with a black cross in it means that if there is a vehicle from the right hand side coming … it has the right of way
At 23:39 in this vlog
Don’t get me wrong everything is good
Keep on exploring and let us enjoy this beautiful tour
Hi Freddie great video as always. I wondered if you had ever tried any of Goldtop motorbike clothing?
The guys at Goldtop (Casey & Joe) are personal friends, so I may be a bit biased, but I can honestly say their merchandise is top quality and they are really nice guys.
@@Thefab5150yeah I have some of their gloves, T-shirt , socks and a jumper and they are amazing. I love all their stuff and hope to have a ride down to their shop soon as I really want one of their retro jackets. I would of thought their stuff would be right up Freddie’s street 👍
@@MRo55i74 Yes, you are 100% correct. Their merchandise is very stylish, so right up Freddie's Street.
Thanks very much🙌🏻 I’ve never tried their gear, but I have been to their shop, which is excellent! Their gear looks incredible, so I’ll make sure to pop over to to their store and do a video soon
24:55 and the weather is PERFECT & Freddie didn't bring his tent/camping gear. It's going into moth balls again. What a shame!! Cheers!!
The front of the bike shop looks like the old model shop we had in town. It’s now boarded up.
“Blood curdling gargles” 😂
'It sounded like I was about 50 metres from at least 3 attempted murders last night' 😂 So funny
Very nice place , really nice moto store enjoy it brother cheers 🇬🇹
The last time I was in Luxembourg back in 2005, my friend & I collided on a main junction in the capital. The police took us to a nearby motorcycle showroom, where the mechanics cannibalised one of their brand new bikes to get my friends VFR 800 in rideable condition. Cost him a small fortune that did.
Right that’s it then. Decision made, Belgium it is then. Was pondering a toss up between Northern Ireland or Belgium this September on the bike but Belgium is now on the cards. I’ve been before on my Bonnie (Ardennes and Spa region) and it literally rained solidly for three days. Fortunately copious amounts of lovely Belgium beer kept my mate and I going on that little tour. Time to give Belgium another go.
As always, great video.
Lets face it you've picked 2 places its guaranteed to rain at some point while you're there, but you're also guaranteed to meet very hospitable locals who love a beer or 2. 😉
Superb episode, Freddie...
Nice vid, think i’ll visit Motoccino Zandhoven ‘cause it’s only 64km ride from my home in the Netherlands.
Taking the countryside roads will make it a greet day i think
👍🏼✊🏼.
I have a Suzuki Savage 650 from 1986 i Spain with Norwegian plates...its fun between the towns in the area.
That’s a bike with some stories! I don’t think I’ve ever knowingly seen one before
*Motoccino* lovely looking shop and stock, you even have Freddie himself modelling on the front / home page of your website - Looking *swell* Fred 🙂
Thanks very much. It’s a superb looking store👌🏻
I wish Tomasz success and what a fine business.
on 23.38 car has priority, not you Freddie. Watch out for crossroads with X sign. It means everyone on you right side has priority.
What a lovely store! Sadly, I don't see stores like that exploding in the US. Maybe a few in Southern California. New York. Maybe. 21:11
Motoccino is just a 10 minute ride from where I live, but somehow you managed to pay it a visit before I did. :) I read about it a few weeks ago and had planned to stop by, but I didn't get to it yet. Perhaps one of these days, it looks like the weather is finally about to improve im Belgium.
Stay safe on the road. The traffic sign at 23:38 (black cross in red/white triangle) means that traffic coming from the right has the right of way, even after they came to a full stop. You may want to pay attention to that sign. ;) Just saying as I believe this traffic sign is not used in the UK.
Freddie, try some galaxy buds 2 ear buds. Put them on silent mode and you won’t hear a whisper. We had a party around my house for my daughters 16th. I went to bed early as I had work the next day and it was as quiet as a whisper.
Great vid.
As a follower of Belgium i really enjoy watching this. Antwerp centrum is indeed a bad place to be at night. If you need info for places to visit at Belgium of Luxemburg..let me know..enjoy the trip.
Hugely appreciate it, thank you:)
Need to check the rules of the road when travelling. A lot of countries, including Netherlands, traffic entering from side roads on the right in many cases have right of way and they will take it regardless of consequencies.
Lovley video, greetings Freddie!🙂
I liked Luxembourg, it was a good spot and lots of huge retaining walls. Im sure it will
Come across as a nice place in the next video.
Kreidler was German and was a very popular brand for 50 cc's in the Netherlands in the 60's and 70's.
Freddie, good karma comes with your new appreciation of your renewed Bonnie. Cheers 🌿Bless🕊
Awesome! Great stuff! :)
Great video! Just a shame you only saw the worst parts of Antwerp.😅
as usual, excellent vid 👍
Lovely
Need shops like this more in Canada.
