Very good report.I have lived in Luxembourg 29 years now. ❤
I absolutely love the road trips never stop doing them there one of the best things on the channel ❤❤
Hugely appreciate it and delighted you like the road trip videos🙌🏻
Freddie Dobbs is Irish? 😮
Great little adventure , cheers Freddie for taking us along .
Well done Freddie.
Particularly enjoyed Luxembourg.
Thank you for visiting us in Luxembourg.
It was my pleasure to be there:)🇱🇺
I am very glad to have discovered your channel, Freddie. I like how you present your content. A gentleman rider in Europe on a splendid English bike with an Irish passport. I miss Europe. I look forward to future presentations.
Hi Freddie, I have an 8 week old son and he has recently started to notice the tv. He particularly loves your videos and they seem to be the only way to keep him quiet 😂 keep them coming please 🙏🏻
I’m so happy to hear it!:)
As a geographer with a love and passion for history and motorcycles alike I find this channel immensely satisfying and relaxing. Much more than just a motorcycle vlog. Keep it up! ✌️ Salute from Georgia! (country)
P.S. can't wait to see the rain stop and take my little '99 Honda to further explore the lush west Georgian countryside 🏞🏍
We have much in common. Salute from California. 🇺🇲
I don’t ride a motorcycle, but very much enjoy your content Freddie! It’s beautiful. Thank you.
I love it......Cant wait to get to France next month, with no destination planned.
Just me, the bike, the TET and some camping gear......BRING IT ON !!!
Ahhhhhhh GLORIOUS!
Irish passport Freddie....good man🤙
Your road trip videos are brilliant! Thanks for taking us with you.
Nice gloves man, very nice. Keep it up, looking forward to more adventures!
Nice to see RE invited you to the Guerilla launch
Thanks AJ. It was non stop- every second of the day. But a lot of fun, and Enfield know how to host an event!
Great trip great places fab music
Thanks so much Freddie 😊
Another great trip:)) LUXEMBOURG looks nice
Very good presentation skills Fred and superb video editing talent...... Monika? Love your entertainment guys, thank you
Love your videos and the bike is oustanding, what a keeper now its renovated, you must have so many memories on it
I haven’t been diligent following the Bonneville’s updates. So glad she is running again. Do I see a new front brake to rotor, new tank badges and new exhausts?
Oh, and a new front brake reservoir…
Love the roads trips, and you sun it up perfectly. Europe; a few hours and one could be anywhere. Cheers Freddie
Brilliant Freddie,thank you
Thanks Bribert
I love your channel. I found it as I was curious if anyone used a Bonneville for road trips .
A quick Google search led me to your channel.
You have a great channel that shows people how to travel cheaply and with style.
You inspired me to get a Bonneville, I’m picking mine up on Saturday! I got a 2018 Black T100 I can’t wait 😂 looking forward to adventures like this too, I love watching these 🔥
YESSSSS!! Massive congrats and good choice! The facelift models are even better!
Freddie. You are quite right. There's nothing like a road trip. I can't manage as many as you but watching yours isn't a bad second best.
Your film making is brilliant, as is your appreciation of eclectic vehicles, quirkiness and class.
Keep them coming!
Ride safely.
They've been doing up the Station Quarter, so it's quite lovely. Your hotel's street is a bit rough at the moment but it's going to look far better soon. I hope you enjoyed your stay!
Hopefully those Guerillas will get more people into biking because they‘re very competitively priced 😉
Agreed, I think they will!
You do get about Freddie. Irish Ferries are the Ryanair of the seas. The Eurotunnel tickets for bikes cost around £50-56 which is great value considering it is far less hassle and quicker than taking a ferry.
A joy as always..
Thanks Richard, I hope you’re very well!:)🏝️
Hi Freddy, I see you availed of the Irish passport for extra ease of travel 😊
Well done as ever with excellent background music, i.e. the music picked really fits the scenery in the vid. Road trips: Yepp, the once who got the virus will never get rid of it. Fantastic feeling being on the road and not knowing where you´re the next day(s). That´s my way of riding too.
On bike chatting would be better than the music!
@@neilurquhart8622 I think Freddie does chat on the bike every here and then and what I meant is not MUSIC but background music. In some other bike videos the music is much too noisy and nerv wrecking. This is not the case with Freddie´s vid. I´d say he´s got good taste. my 50ct
@@anchinkan yeh, I agree with you about the “noisy and nerve racking music”…..don’t recall Freddie ‘chatting on the bike’ though; maybe I’ve missed that?
my kind of place 🏍
Brilliant what a lovely couple of days
Boarding a Channel ferry with a motorcycle has a “je-ne-sais-quoi”. Good music and atmosphere; You rock, Mr. Freddie
6:20 wow you are brave, I'd never leave my jacket like that just incase you tempt an opportunist thief 😮
Hi from Ireland.. Wer just back from a camper road trip around France, Belgium and Holland. Great to get out and see the world. Or a piece of it anyway... Great video as always. By the way, I had no idea you are Irish. Sure havent you the gift of the gab!!..
Excellent series. What a life, to be able to ride a motorbike all through Europe.
Thank you for bringing us along and glad you got home safely. Enjoy Barcelona.
I can’t believe I missed you. Luxembourg has beautiful places and plenty of great roads. Hope you’ll come again with more time.
Luxembourg is a handsome city. I love your road videos, Freddie. Nick
Back from Kenya, and I take a ride with you and our neighbours. I smile as I hear your comments on continental Europe and also recognise the way you look and explore, even the other motorway user !
There's a fuel stop you make but the impression I get is that this was in Belgium, after you'd left Luxembourg. I'm a little surprised, because my recollections of Luxembourg was that the petrol was remarkably cheap, which accounts for the number of petrol stations you'll find around the border points (you actually passed some where you entered the country in the previous video): some people even make a trip there, just for the lower prices. You do make reference to seeing a few petrolheads, from the numbers of exotic cars on the roads: I certainly remember from my first visit it, in the 1980s, that big American cars seemed to be popular, though it seems their tastes for the eclectic have changed and I didn't see so many on my last trip.
It was interesting to see, from the street map, that the city has a road called Bvd General Patton. Fairly near to the airport, there's a large American Military Cemetery, for the fallen of WW2 who died in the Allied advance through the Ardennes and beyond. Patton survived the war but his grave is there: it was his wish to be buried with his men. A possible surprise is that, only about a half a mile away, if that - let's just call it a respectful distance - there's also a Military Cemetery for the German fallen. It's a sobering experience to visit them.
These are indeed very enjoyable and interesting to watch, thank you sir.
Really glad you enjoyed it!
Bet your glad of having an Irish Grannie😍
I am!😃
Hey Freddie, love the stealthy Irish passport for Europe 😉
So intriguing to contemplate the density of Europe. Here in the states, unless you're in or around the border, hours or days in any direction, means you're still stateside. 🇺🇲
Lovely road trip Freddie thanks for the lovely videos as always
If you ever, Freddie, looking for a calm trip over the southern Poland and Slovakia, give me a sign. I’m a German, I know, but for over twenty one years located in PL. And yes, driving Triumph. 😎
I’ll remember this, thank you:)
Thoroughly enjoyed the series Freddie, thanks for sharing 😄😄
You are the David Attenborough of MC travel videos 🏍️
I like that ❤
Thanks Freddie, I enjoyed that series.
I reckon you have a little black book of contacts for your trips..... you use it to get everybody with an interesting vehicle out and in your view finder just at the right time!
Another belter 👍🏻
Brilliantly done episode, and great insight to those destinations
Happy Birthday Kate from NZ. What a neat bunch of chicks. Happy memories.
Great video as per usual Freddie, keep them rolling 🇮🇪
Thanks James!
Another brilliant video Freddie keep them coming please but I hope you gave your lovely Bonneville a severe wash down and polish.😎
Another excellent road trip, keep them coming Freddie 👍
Another great road trip. Keep them coming👍
Must admit I haven’t taken the ferry since the tunnel opened…approximately £80 each way up to 3 trains an hour
Luxembourg to Calais in four hours! Last time I did that trip it was nine hours - but that was sixty years ago in a pre-War Austin Seven!
Tell us more Saxon....
@@mozdickson Not much more to tell; the year was 1964, I had just passed my test and bought my first car, and it just seemed like a good idea to drive off into the sunset!
If we’re purely talking fun, then nine hours with no motorways in a Seven is hard to match!
@@FreddieDobbs Certainly no motorways! But we did get waylaid by some American soldiers who persuaded us to follow them to camp, where we were given free reign in their NAAFI stores - that supplied our camping needs for a week!
love the REC watch
Just discovered your channel Freddie. I’m hooked, keep doing what you do. 🏍️
Delighted you found it!:)
Oh the naivety of the travelling paddy!!
You should see the amount.of traffic on the boarder roads every morning and evening. The reason for the free public transport is to encourage people to leave their cars at home. Clean air. Le shuttle is £90 either way in may when myself and wife traveled.
Awesome awesome channel
Bike sounds so healthy
Thanks for sharing your travels.
Hi Freddie and Monika, I hope life is treating you both well? I share the sentiments of alot of your comments section, in that these excursion videos are of great pleasure to watch...as always, keep safe and love to you both.👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much, Julian
I live in lux love it so much.. also.. Freddie Irish confirmed 🇮🇪😂
Great Interesting video as ever Freddy
Thanks. Great trip even if it didnt have an ending 😊
Very nice seeing other people excited by my home country ! And a weird question maybe but what pants are the ones you're wearing at the end clip in Barcelona ?
Really enjoyed these road trip videos, thanks Freddie. I'm heading off to France from the UK in August on my Interceptor with a couple of friends on their bikes. Just for a couple of days - more as a "taster" really as I've never ridden abroad before.
I'll be attempting to film the trip, inspired by your videos and others that I've watched. Not sure how it'll pan out, but I'm sure we'll have a laugh anyway! I'll upload it for my currently 31 subscribers to watch when I'm back. 😂😂😂
Lovely road trip I’m taking my bike in the van to chimay next week Luxembourg 🇱🇺 is on the itinerary with the bike 🏍 nice one Freddie
Have a brilliant trip, Gordon!
Great series, really enjoyed it
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Oh what a great road trip, good value adventure!. I'm going to Barcelona the week after next. Could have got your autograph lol as had my family including the inlaws watching your's and now Monica's adventures from the start. Keep up the good work both. Your content is so professional, I really do think you should have a motorcycle adventure series on TV. 👍
That’s very kind of you to say so, thanks Robert!
thanks for taking us on this journey. hope to see more touring in the future!! im sure people can suggest numerous locations and attractions to visit :)
Definitely! I’ve saved lots of tips for future destinations👌🏻
@@FreddieDobbs Cant wait to see where you go next. Such gorgeous location on this particular bout!
Great video and what a lovley city, definitely on my goto list now
Thanks Dale! I very highly recommend Luxembourg City👌🏻
The last time that I was in Luxembourg City on business, I noticed that they ran street sweeping machines over all of the sidewalks just before Dawn each day, which not only kept the trash down but coincidentally disincentivized a lot of the nap-on-the-sidewalk crowd.
Interesting!
Luxemburg looks a lot like France... but rich and clean xD
About the bmw c1, what i know is, that if you use the seatbelt, you don't have te wear a helmet...Thnx for the video, i will visit the city in stead of drivin through it
Wow!😳
Only in Europe, unfortunately. In the UK, you have to wear a helmet whether or not you use the seat belt.
Another shoulder check in case that concrete wall overtakes freddie😂
Shouldn't strap a bike down on the main stand Freddie. Most bikes will rock a little on the main stand. Best to use the side stand, it gives 3 solid points of contact. 5 if you count the anchor points much more stable.
That’s an excellent point- I’ll always do this from now on. Thank you
25 years ago C1s were all over Paris but, I'd never heard of a scoot with a roof & thought them most cool. But, the more research I did, the less great they seemed, negatives too numerous to list here. I did the right thing, leaving them all in France....
How fortunate you are to be able to ride your motorcycle. I haven't been able to ride mine since my severe injury to my ears. I have severe tinnitus from loud music exposure, and I was wearing industrial hearing protection. Enjoy your shows. 7/18/24.
Ahhhh, sorry to hear it!
Wow.. Free public transport. Here in Bergen (Norway) they are debating on rising the price from 4.5 to approx 5 USD for a single way ticket
Love your videos by the way! Thanks for sharing your journeys ❤
Some British train prices are so obscene, that it makes it impossible to travel by train🤬
Free! Don't think our local councils understand the meaning of the word. Drive safe.
Agreed!
The Gare area in Luxembourg City is considered the most dangerous place in the city… for Luxembourg standards.
Hey there. First off: I particularly enjoyed this and the last episode as we are going to do a similar trip but in the other direction :) (Lux-Brighton-Wales-London).
Little correction: What the gentleman at the station told you isn‘t entirely true. I park my bike anywhere in Luxembourg city. As long as it doesn‘t hinder anyone, noone cares. Police don‘t move your bike just like that, they call you before and ask you to move it.
Awesome! :)
You don't sound very Irish Freddie :)
Great travels and presentations, Would you still ride the Triumph Bonnie.?
If the mbw c1 exists. Why isn't Bulma's bike real yet? I don't think it would be very aerodynamic, but I'm sure they can figure it out.
I see you have an Irish passport. Lucky man to qualify for that! None of that own-goal Brexit restrictions-on-movement idiocy for you!
I’m very grateful to have it:)🇮🇪
There are no restrictions on British passport holders on holiday in Europe you idiot! Do your research instead of listening to left wing propaganda.
I think I read somewhere that Luxembourg receives more in EU funding than it contributes! Hence your impressions of the city?
Fascinating!
Bizarre considering itv the richest country in the World🤷♂️
New Subscriber Great video thank you.👍
Delighted you found the channel, thanks!
A rich place, and yet not a chrome wrapped lamborghini in sight, nor the pop of a tuned Ferrari
Are you considering trying camping again? I was inspired to try it after your video and it's been a revelation. I love it.
I’m so happy to hear you’re loving camping! I go back and forth… I probably will end up trying it again soon, but a bit of me thinks I bought the wrong tent!
@@FreddieDobbsI think you just chose the wrong weather.
Gosh, Freddie - your music is always so "pleasant". Ever considered a bit of Motorhead?..
Don’t know how true it it but I’ve read before now that even though public transport is free there, it’s so unreliable that people don’t use it
