- New Marshall Major build with two KT88 and some of the factory mods that Marshall did for Blackmore around 1970.
Straight to amp, no pedals, 4x12 with 1972 Celestion G12H 55Hz Greenbacks in isolation cab, SM58 mic, EQ'd with the Helios plugin in ProTools.

First when I heard this in background of earlier video I thought it was you improvising over well-known backing track.
I'd say that this take is more British, so to say, it has some cool psychedelic vibe.

It's interesting how when I hear alternate takes I tend to quickly dismiss them, I wonder if it's because of 'programming' from hearing the original so much or if the original does indeed flow harmonically better? Perhaps if this were the lead version that was released on the original I'd be liking this more...I wonder...

I'm afraid I don't have a tab for this solo. I also realized that the way I played it back then has some errors. But you should be able to play it at half speed here on RUclips and figure it out just by looking at the notes. Cheers, M.
