    I’ve been using this setup for almost two years now. After a prerinse, I spray the tires with p&s undressed and then foam over with brake buster at 10:1. The foam gives the undressed better cling and dwell time. Brake buster is better in the ik at a weaker dilution because the water helps reduce buildup in the sprayer and produces a better foam overall. 10:1 is plenty strong, I’ve never met a wheel so far it hasn’t been able to clean because of the dilution. Great video and I’ll have to check out more!

    I recently switched wheel and tire cleaners. I now use maniac wheel and tyre cleaner. Stuff is crazy good. I have it at 6.5:1 dilution and the cleaning power is crazy. I did an older accord and the wheels had some brake dust you could tell had been on there for years. Little agitation from a brush and it came right off. Also smells really nice which is appreciated. Brake buster is still great but for me doing other people’s cars sometimes you just need some heavier cleaning power. I like that it has such good cleaning power while still being diluted. Brake buster I’d have had to use straight most likely, and I’m not sure it would get it off then either. I highly recommend you give it a shot. I think they have it at TOC supplies. It seems bigger in Canada than in the US at the moment.

      Brake buster is pretty good just to spray on and rinse off with the pressure washer. I think the best clean will only come when it is brushed and / or raged clean. BUT… if you do weekly washes, the effort is minimal vs once a month wash.

    • @LifeOfaMatt
      @LifeOfaMatt  Год назад +1

      I would try and avoid that Admin! When using it on my wheels, I only do one side of the car at a time. So basically I spray each one, wash each wheel and then wash off. When I gets warmer, I will only do one wheel at a time. So if by chance I get some over spray on the car it will only be there for a short about of time before I rinse it off. Regardless try and avoid the paint.
