I met Julie Adams in 2001 at a chiller theater convention got her autograph she was so sweet & personable you can tell she enjoyed her fans , one of the nicest celebrities I ever met & will always cherish my memories of our meeting
I've always loved Julie Adams; she was so beautiful and such a great actress. The Creature movie was arguably the greatest horror/sci-fi film of the 1950's. It's been said that many other beautiful actresses starred in many different sci-fi features during that decade, but when Julie Adams did "Creature from the Black Lagoon"- she went straight to the top of the list !
In 1959, at age 13, my parents bought me an 8mm camera & projector! I went out & bought a few, shortened,"Castle Films" versions of fairly current movies. One of them was "Creature from the Black Lagoon"! Even at that age, I could see that Julie Adams was a gorgeous girl, who would 'go places' in the film industry! It was great seeing her in the 80's, on "Murder She Wrote"!
Absolutely gorgeous😋💓when the creature was going to grab her leg by the river, those white shorts she was wearing really showed off her beautiful body ❤💋
She was amazing. I've seen most of her films, and recently saw her in an old western. She had a brilliant career, and her range was impressive. I'm glad you're covering her. She deserves the attention. 🌹 Also, she was built like a bunny! What a figure! 😍
Might want to re-check the info on Julie Adams in Revenge of the Creature. Julie Adams/Kay Lawrence was not in the film Revenge of the Creature. She was only in the Creature From the B L.
Thanks for this profile of classic brunette beauty Julie Adam’s. She was a familiar face on television throughout my youth and well into middle age. She had such a lovely face and figure, and she contributed well, whether she played a good girl or a vamp. Thanks again!
Buetifull, Buetifull lady! Met her at a convention years ago and she was the sweetest most genuine person I've ever met. She even blushed when I told her she was my first crush after seeing Creature from the Black Lagoon on television as a kid. She was older but still a pretty lady and it made me sad though that it seemed she had married a total slimeball in these advanced years. This guy was also her manager and he just reeked of exploitation. He looked at her not like a loving husband but as his money train. He even looked the part with the jet black dyed comb-over weasely thin mustache and kinda twitchy. Total sleazeball vibe. She deserved better.
Julie Adams did have more depth to her performances compared to the others in Hollywood in it's history. I love her work and glad she didn't feel bad about doing sifi horror.
Though she deservedly became an icon for "Creature," she hardly made a career out of horror films. She was in sonething called "Psychic Killer"...and that was it.
the Rondo Award!--so cool, started and still run by my older brother David, who when I was 3 snuck me into the living room against our parents wishes sayin, ' you have to see this'---it was King Kong on tv!
I Remember her for the role as.. a suitor for for Hoss" Cartwright in the television series Bonanza who he was going to marry until He found out she had a terrible Gambling addiction..good & memorable role i thought !
I would suggest that you proof your narratives. You referred to her as Betty at least three different times towards the end of the video. Also, I would suggest you keep your photos on screen on topic with the role that she was playing in her TV or movie appearances. It’s very offputting to see a picture of her in murder she wrote and while you’re still narrating, you start showing some cowboy movies that she was in. Beyond that I really enjoy your productions.
That was the formal name she went by in the early years as a contract player - not long after that she dropped the name Julia and just adopted the name Julie instead.
Julies looks and personality seem like the ideal wife. Meryl Streep is a good actress but is praised as the greatest thing since baked bread but to me doesn’t hold a candle to Julie.
the great cast made this film a classic a bad cast would of made it cheap sifi, but every thing works in this film, Julie also made the film, the wrong leading lady would have made the film a bust.
And the creature outfit was one of the best. Agree about the cast. Richard Carlson was an underrated actor and Whit Bissell, who was in about half the movies and TV shows ever made, was always good.
Narrarater makes it sound like she was the best actress to ever live. Julie was a very good actress, but truth be told, it was her beautiful face and bikini body that made her shine
Julie always comes across as a kind person. She was blessed with incredible beauty . Have not heard of negative comments about her.

@waltsudol7198 wow that's awesome. Lucky you.

She was drop dead gorgeous. No wonder the Creature was fixated on her. ♥️
A truly beautiful lady. She also performed in 4 Perry Mason episodes that showed her remarkable versatility.
Thanks! Perry Mason! I knew I recognized her from somewhere else but couldn’t remember 😊👍
And 77 Sunset Strip along with Hitchcock.

Great actress & great body. I've been in love with her since the fifties. R.I.P. Julie Adams.

A beautiful actress. Always had a crush on that lovely lady.
What a body. Stole the show in The Creature From the Black Lagoon

I am so grateful I got to meet her at a Las Vegas autograph convention in the early 2000s.
One of my all time favorite actresses and one of the most beautiful in the industry.
Julie was really built , thats for sure .
She kind of makes me think of Jennifer Connelly. Either way, she was a beautiful lady.
I see it👍
Actually I can see that
Julie also played a defendent in one of Perry Mason's few losses, titled "The Deadly Verdict"...
What a GORGEOUS actress!!! May she RIP.

Yeah it destroys the credibility of the entire video.
You have to wonder about the people that post these videos. So many times they don't seem to do their homework and some times seem oblivious to facts.
But Clint Eastwood was, in a small part!
THE most beautiful brunette on the silver screen - ever!
We miss you, Ms. Adams - you were fantastic - RIP!

She was gorgeous
Julie and Jennifer Connelly look so similar it's wild. Julie was definitely an amazing performer.

No one filled out a swim suit like she did

Natural beauty 😍😍❤
Great actress. May she rest in peace
Nothing about Adams starring in a movie with Elvis
She is a vert beautiful woman. Her beauty really shined in the Creature of the Black Lagoon.
Had a crush on her big time. Even Elvis got to play opposite her in a movie.
FACT CHECK: Julie Adams was NOT in the Twilight Zone episode, The "Trade-Ins."
Julie Adams was NOT in Revenge of the Creature. A simple IMDB search would have shown this.
I was watching Julie Adams ♥️ with Clint Walker ⭐️ in his Western series Cheyenne this morning!
Though she deservedly became an icon for "Creature," she hardly made a career out of horror films. She was in sonething called "Psychic Killer"...and that was it.

Not a victim but a scientist as well

Looked a little like Jennifer Connelly
Yep!👍
Such a beautiful lady!
Julie Adams never appeared on The Twilight Zone. She was in one episode of the similar One Step Beyond.

And she was on an episode of The Rifleman 😊
Would love to see a movie about Adams life. Jennifer Connelly would be perfect to play her IMO.
She was also hot in Tickle Me with Elvis Presley.
I can't believe there is a place or an attraction called weeki wachee!!!
On the movie poster for Creature from the Black Lagoon she's billed as Julia Adams, proof reading error?
That was the formal name she went by in the early years as a contract player - not long after that she dropped the name Julia and just adopted the name Julie instead.
Just say it: Julie had a great body which was a pleasure to watch.
Agreed.
She was talented - but the bod came first.
She was quite a hottie in her youth
Gorgeous! ❤
So she was 22 years older in The Killer inside me than she was in lagoon.. She sure didn't look 22 years older
I would say that the Queen of horror and chills was Bette Davies not Julie Adams
She wasn’t in a Twilight Zone
I liked the Adam's Family. Wish I lived in a huge house.
Of all the movies, Creature...BL was the best.
Jennifer Connelly before Jennifer Connelly.
greatest legs ever
Wait, what? How did she suddenly turn into Betty?
I have an interview with Julie on my channel here
Classic photo at 3:17
Julies looks and personality seem like the ideal wife. Meryl Streep is a good actress but is praised as the greatest thing since baked bread but to me doesn’t hold a candle to Julie.
Why do you KEEP REPEATING THE SAME THINGS OVER AND OVER ?
Only love pads the video.
Too bad the narrator has to show the silly mock up photo. No dignity.
Who is the bikini girl? It's not Julie.

Who the Hell researched this? She DID NOT REPRISE HER ROLE in Revenge Of The Creature. 😂😂😂😂
👍👏👏
Very attractive and really great legs.
Didn’t she use to date the Gillman?
She couldn't act for shit, but she would be an A lister in modern hollywood.Which isn't saying much.
You don’t judge for shit
@@cliffordbowman6777 haha,butt hurt,are we?
@@richardscanlan3419 Ha ha ha was that your intention? To hurt someone's butt. What a pathetic lout.
Hey sicko ... be nice ... Julie was ...😊
@@briangraham1024 sicko???

She was hot from the time she woke up, and all day long.
She was gorgeous.
