Jesus fucking christ so many people crying about how it's too hard or only 0.1% of the community is going to get it. The whole point of it is to be hard and something barely anyone has, it makes it meaningless if it isn't. If you're a fairly casual player who can barely prayer flick gwd minions (like myself), then just carry on playing the game like you were before and stop crying your little eyes out, not everything should be handed to you on a plate. A clear difference between the good players and the bad players is what makes a game great imo, and the inferno does just that.

I agree man. I only play a pure on osrs, and I'm having difficulty just getting the fire cape. I would never wish for it to be easier though. What kind of game would I be playing if it were like that? It kind of makes the game something to come back to when you know there are still many things you are not good enough yet to do. Cheers.

***** If it's as challenging as people are saying it is, the cost of having someone else do it for you will inevitably reflect the challenge and thus getting the money for it together in the first place will be a feat in itself. However I highly doubt that more than a handful of people will be sad enough to buy one, meaning that the large majority of capes in game will be a genuine testament to the skill of the players who earned them.

Great content guys thanks for the update. I can see i'm going to struggle with it (having seen some of the attempts thus far - currently deadwilson got to final boss & died), but I'm looking forward to the challenge and it's giving me a reason to brush up on my prayer switching and other pvm skills for the juicy reward!
I love the osrs community and how the creators and mods listen to the players. Makes this game a very fun experience!

Timothy Brister it wasnt meant for casuals. game needs challenging content, and since not everyone can beat jad, then the cape will be the most prestigious item skill wise.

Oliver Skoglund I love how osrs people keep asking for certain updates by picking and choosing what they want from rs3. They also complanr about no dxp weekends and stuff its amusing.
No one in the history of the fucking Runescape ever complained about too many updates or too much content being added, especially challenging bosses, quests or new areas. The only thing which people used to complain about content wise, was updates which made skills like runecrafting afkable via runespan basically turning the skill from one of the slowest and hardest to max to worthless afkable skill.
Second people dislike rs3 because of rushed combat system change which made so many things obsolete and even more things completely broken and unbalanced oh and also MTX bullshit and spins.
Carlos Rincones don't get butthurt that when fight kiln was first released people did it first try, nobody has in osrs yet, and it actually takes skill
Theyre adding things that was really good in rs2, the only thing we hate is eoc, theyre basicly making 2011 rs again but in oldschool graphics,

the problem with new PVM content in osrs now days its actually it doesnt feel as original its very simplistic graphic combined with damage pilling-mechanic like OLM boss its really boring cuz its lack alot of creativity in Development sad to say..tho i appreciate the hard work some of these guys trying to achieve
