      I don't use foot beds, and I've never tried Apex ski boots.

    Absolutely correct. Thank god someone is mentioning this properly - foot beds are not needed in most people

    In my experience insoles have helped thousands of skiers, from beginners to high level racers, of course they have to made properly for the necessity of the user. I would also like to point out that you are comparing some natural movement for our body such as lifting weight or running, to something very unnatural (our foot is not "made" to stay in a plastic box and put pressure on an edge at speed). Surely there are people that prefere to ski without footbeds or that find them uncomfortable, for a number of reasons, but to put off the majority of skiers from using footbeds based on the opinion of a minority of high level skiers doesn't seem to me a good advice.

      Hi Andy from Snow camps europe here, I am the one in the podcast that agrees with you and thinks footbeds should be used where needed. You comment is directed at Paul this is who you disgre with just for info.
