Just in the first 5 minutes this is probably the best Bellwright tips video to date. Everybody else is going over the same stuff with almost nothing that's actually advanced. Nice work. Don't forget when looking at potential recruits to factor in their perks, someone with "Cowardly, Pessimist or Weakling" etc. May not be as good as the numbers would indicate.
Also a good tip. To keep your 3 food buffs constantly, eat a berry first then meals like smoked meat, fine meal, meat stew. Only the first food you eat decays, the other two don't unless the first one expires and you can keep up all three food buffs by stacking up on berries and they're everywhere. Unless it's winter...
8:20 i think the minimum is npc will save at least that much room for that resource. so even if other resource fill the barn it will save minimum spot for that resource.
you dont have to manually do anything in an outpost. You can set stuff to be transferred between them at midnight. Send picks and food to her and get the ore from here to your main settlement.use the deliveries tab on the stockpile info sheet to send and recieve stuff automatically. hope that helps.
Deliveries aren't the most straightforward thing, so I'll leave a bit more detail here. When you go to the Deliveries tab of a given settlement, any jobs you set up here will be deliveries TO this settlement. When you specify the item you want to be delivered, you also get to select the settlement/outpost the item will be delivered FROM. Deliveries don't involve any villagers, and the items get transported instantly at midnight. They do, however, require a storage building in the source as well as the destination settlement. For instance, if the ore got stored in the mining camp itself, it won't be delivered.
Hi, thanks for the tips! I've noticed that if you build a workbench in your outposts and trade few basic mats they will repair their tools. At least it works with T1 tools that don't require insane skills to repair. That way you don't have to check if they have enough tools every other day.
I'm 30 hours in and this is going to help massively, such a great game. Life is Feudal YO vibes, honestly if the systems were a bit more flushed out, this would be a formidable game. I can tell the devs are just testing the waters and with the daily updates this game is getting, is just insane, 100% respect the devs for this activity. The only thing that worries me is, not enough people play the game I think it will get abandoned for sure, if more people play it, the devs are willing to put the effort in.
13:54 TIP: To find the one you're looking for even faster, switch that one from worker to companion and they'll come running towards you... and then at least leave him some radishes as severance pay :P
13:00 you can just press N to look at the list of settlers in your town and simply see the stats of everyone by hovering over their namens. Its a bit easyer then clicking on everyone on the map
When you're looking at your settlement tab(N), you have buildings, population(you dont have to click random ones on map), storage and deliveries up the top. 100% you're failing if you're not using deliveries with outposts, a main reason to use outposts at all.
Thanks for the Video , for your Last tip a tip from me: set a deliver order in main camp so that at mightnight your tin is delivered to mainbase. You can set the orders in the last tab of the n window. Be sure to set the tin order in main base and maybe a small food order in tin camp ✌
Awesome video! Subscribed for more Bellwright content. It would be great if you could make a video of how you built your settlement. I'm curious to know the distribution of buildings and if you've optimized it in any way.
A great tip you want to find a person to change gear or strip and fire, just use the population tab then click on them and make them a companion and they will run to you...
I’m guessing the lower limit means that the npc will not take out more then the minimum. That’s for you only to remove. So if the minimum is 10 meat and there is 9 they will not eat it they will save it for you.
Tip for changing gear on your settlers is to find them in the population menu and switch their mode to companion so they come to you instead of having to find them.
It is also a good idea not to destroy all the camps close to the base, or to build a small military outpost that will destroy bandit patrols and passively collect fame. 👍
If you’re struggling with crows like I was chickens are on the ground and easy pray and they give pretty much the same kind of amount of feathers plus meat
How can i get a sturdy pick axe, running around like a headless chicken at the moment with 300 hrs in game. I have a app' blacksmith but nothing seems to be working. Have been looking for some loose iron ore to start me off but cannot find any. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Damn I need a barn lol.. cause I have 4 stockpiles and had no idea when I made my flax and hemp farms they would produce like 200+ each OMF I have so much plants.. one entire stockpile is flax and hemp lol.. I just turned them off.. So if I set the limits to 100 in only 1 stockpile they wont harvest them anymore after we get to that 100 cap?
Storage is a little broken at the moment better to stop making something then try and stop them from putting into a stockpile. Stockpiles are cheap to build they just take up more room, I would have 1 for food and 2 for resources and 1 for equipment and build more if you need
OK so you are only in T1 .. I thought I was playing slow and was like man I should really focus on the game and stuff.. but now I see you.. and manybe taking it slow is ok. I have a couple of general questions. So do you currently have any outposts? Or are your tin and copper and reed collectors just walking 5 mins each way for stuff? I only have 4 townsfolk and myself so far. been just doing quests and increasing my relations and getting more and more renown to get better towns folks.
I have my main in between tin and copper, I do have a out post for iron and has just 1 villager. Take it slow do all the research rather than moving to fast. You keep doing all the quests that can be finished and remember can can all ways expel a bad hire and get your renown back
The mining hut and the stockpile and the housing hut should all be in the same settlement. If you are trying to do iron, they need the tier 2 pick which needs 2 strength. You can use deliveries from the settlement management page to ship in food and resources out (the current settlement is in the upper left of the window, use the arrows there to swap between settlements. This is the settlement that receives the goods. When adding items the drop down menu list is where the goods are coming from)
1) what is the storage that comes with houses for ? villagers dont use it and take everything out 2) how do you make villagers read books ? 3) how does guard reservist work and how do i set it up that they pick up correct weapons instaed of tools ? 4) what does (neutral) town prosperity do and what are herbs (for them) or grain storage for ? it commes with the village building projects and i dont see much use in building anything but houses for them to get more people to recruit from
1. not sure lol not sure any does 2. put the book in their inventory and then click on their attribute, there's a plus symbol click that. 3. Not to sure still working that out. 4 those building increase town trust you need a certain lvl to liberate the town
Walk through? You don't want to watch 40 hrs of game play. This game has so much to it, I think a walk through couldn't be done to give it its true rewards,
Hello, I see that you have level 2 equipment, I have tried to investigate tier 2 things but it won't let me, didn't you have that problem? It seems that no one in my village wants to investigate, they take it and when they arrive they leave it
Yes, a lot of the research in tier 2 needs apprentices to research. You can only hire them after you liberated the town with the right b one in it. In my next video, I will go into detail about this.
I got annoyed with one of my villagers and impulsively expelled him. Realized he started walking away with my gear and killed him. Not leaving with my stuff haha. Also same situation impulsively expelled one and went to padstow the next day and he was there wearing all my good armor I gave him. Killed him in front of everyone in the town and they turned on me and I died. 😂
Pro tip. Will probably get patched. When traps are destoyed, do not replace them. Disassemble them and Voila, free trap in your inventory. No need to make new ones :)

@@princeflorizel5419 nice one, was wondering why people deliver the other way around; devs should realy make a popup for deliveries how to
When he said he had to manually transport the goods himself, I was like, "There's a whole delivery system for this purpose"
So, good catch.
Hi, thanks for the tips! I've noticed that if you build a workbench in your outposts and trade few basic mats they will repair their tools. At least it works with T1 tools that don't require insane skills to repair. That way you don't have to check if they have enough tools every other day.

how to open the warrior inventory within the team?
easy to install?
10 people standing around is a bit difficult
You can command them all to eat by clicking in a stockpile with food in it. Remember the game is very early access.
How can your villagers change bait in a traps or change a trap then it will broke?
Make sure you have new traps being made and they will fix the broken ones from the trappers camp in tier 1
Thanks so much ❤

15 man with wooden shields and spiked clubs without any armor, easily taking over 1st city, it is not required to research any tier 1 armor or weapon

Hard to know, if stuck make them a companion and walk a bit so they follow and then put them back to worker. This works for me
Give food to new recruits so they have enough in the way back to the village
