take a look at the weapons his troops are using. shovels, hoes etc because he auto sent them to equip. Always choose weapons for your troops and give them to them early on. They will take a main weapon and keep it for fights. If you wish to auto equip your troops, you have to give the order and be patient as they take a long time to swap items out. Same for food. Carry food for your troops and bandages too.
my original tactic for fighting pretty much anyone was to keep lightly armored, out-run when possible and snipe heads otherwise. When you get 1v1 you can typically win the fight fairly easy so long as you can hit their head.
Glad to see how well your army setup looks now! Show them brigands how to fight! ⚔ But don't forget that you can also rename the squads and give each companion a melee or archer role if it helps you command them better in a hektic battle "thaynthegamer" pointed it out in the comments of your "BellWright - Commanding your Army - Basics, Tips & Tricks for becoming a better General!"-video in case you didn't read it
thanks! still getting better at that aspect of my game. Will give it a read as I was thinking that must be possible and I was just missing something! Appreciate the heads up and feed back :)
I forgot to save when i started the rebellion, my game crashed when i was 3 Brigands away from defeating the the big raiding party, and when i reload, im mid battle, but i dont get time to order my troops, and they just go charging in and get wrecked :( No matter how i try and wrangle it, i cant get in to stop them fast enough. So i have to reload an earlier save and do it all again :( Its a little disheartening ;(
When you order them to interact with the weapon rack, do they get the weapon you originally gave them? And what if there are carpenters hammers on that rack, is someone going to grab it or do you have to do all that before you order them? That looked more organized than I have ever been able to manage, and I already liberated this town...granted your outpost is right beside the town, not sure how this plays out when you take the southern most towns, are you going to set up another big base outpost?
@@davidhalliday2796 same as other buildings, once you research them in tier 2 and have friendly or better rep you can place them. I let my recruits deliver the supplies across the map, but then the villagers will do the construction.

very helpful video. and great tactics, to attack the raiding party on your own (and as light as possible) just to whittle them down.

Great video! It will be helpful when I’m ready to liberate the town. Thanks for sharing.
i love how there was just one guy in the squad rockn a shovel haha
I didn’t know there was a way to see damage numbers , I got to look into that

once you liberate a village you can trade with it, each village has different things to trade
That's good to know, thanks!
How exactly did you get them to take food? I clicked on my barn and a third of them were still hungry and I had to manually feed them.
I wish people, would show more of their suplpy chains and outpost setups, no one is covering that atm.... :(

How did you just simply click to build a part of the tower? Mine it has a terribly long mechanic for building. Is this a level up situation?
I've just been demolished a couple of times. Hence me looking for tips. My army is just getting its ass kicked.
Hi quick question I’ve done the liberate the fist village but the enemy force hasn’t moved from there camp
It took them almost 2 days to show up. Their pathing is really weird it seems.
You could always go see what they are doing.
How many days has it been?
@firmbutfairgaming8636 been atleast 4 ingame days and I would but there at like the huge main camp down south
How do I get that helmet?
LMAO, one of your dudes is fighting with a shovel. :p
can you build in the village once it has been liberated?
I have been able to build Village specific buildings but I have not tried to build other ones yet. Will try to do so and confirm soon.
Faster than coins and teeth, build more village improvement buildings...a well, herbal hut, and houses.
Yup did that today and got to Bellwright reputation with them.
How do you build them?

it took me 3 real life days and i still cant figure it out lol they distroy me everytime
