Nice lol thank you!
034's transmission inserts help a lot with slop and stiffen everything up.
and also cause everything to wear out 3x faster.
@@Dudeman9339 The ZF8 trans is very robust and van hold much more power than the 3.0T can produce on a stock block. people have over 200k miles on track cars with the same trans.
Not true, at 100K and the rubber mounts are still fresh, buddy already had to change his as they were all used up moving so much. lol@@Dudeman9339
Should have done some shifting. That is what I wanted to see. That would really give us an idea of how the trans changed.
I can get a video up showing that
That was awesome, launch reactions to passenger's please
Not a bad idea definitely something to come
Good video brah.
Yeeeaaaaahhhh, let’s go. “I am Unstoppable” 😂🤙
Well after 3 years of being desperate, I understood that 8HP (AL551) can be adapted for higher torque. I had engine swap (CGQB->CVUB) due to burned piston and the new engine is from facelift, but I was promised it was 100% same. Well since then the E clutch adaptation always ends up at -700mbar and that causes slight jerk on 1-2 and 5-6. More pressure to avoid slipping, however damages the E clutch I guess. That engine is puttin out more torque as the TCU is expecting, or at least TCU thinks it is more torque, because the dyno says 570Nm anyway. I have the 8HP55 transmission, but will try to update the AL551 TCU with facelift 8HP70 tranny software to see if it helps or not :-/ No one was able to help me for years with this. Can you help who should I contact about this? Thanks!
Wow that's alot lol. As far as transmission related I can refer you to talk to Berk. This video of mine is old and I've changed alot more things on my car including the tcu tune. brgerdes@gmail.com shoot him an email and let him know your situation he may help. Berk did a custom tcu tune for my car
@@Wr3nchen Thank you very much, will write him an email then, much appreciated! 🙏🏻
I can solve your problem
You can write facelift sw ...but it Will not work..
You Will get error for comunication with ecu
Write me an email.
@@Lucian18905 Hi Lucian, was trying to figure out your email, but couldn't. What is your email? Thanks many times!!
@@TheXone7 unfortunaly I cannot post the adress as îs imediatly deleted.
Try like this : Lucian.lucs Yahoo
Getting a Berk tune instead. Same car.
Will this tune work in C7 2.0T Audi? I believe it has the same ZF8 transmission. I'm trying to get rid of the lag when shifting from P to D. This tune claims to have reduced that lag. Thanks
I believe it does but I'm not 100% sure I would check IE website. As of now I actually have a custom zf8 tune by Berk
Hey did you get a tcu tune for the A6 2.0t?
@@karangulati1821I didn't get a chance yet.
Puedo tener un Ucu túne de winolgs y poner el tcu de IE !
What amp rating is the charger you were using while flashing your ECU/TCU?
I'm not sure I just make sure the setting is set to charge and it automatically sets it to charge if needed
@@Wr3nchen Ok. I have what looks to be the same charger and it says 15 amps on the front of the charger.
‘13 A7 / APR Stage 2 + with Ultra Charger.
How did you increase revs to (+)7200rpm?
TCU tune
I wasn’t very clear in my question…how did you go about getting APR ECU tune updated to increase engine redline? Or were you able to instal IE TCU tune without any ECU changes?
Appreciate your feedback
@@austincain9327 No problem at all. The TCU from IE worked with the ECU tune from APR. The TCU is what changed the higher rpms levels. My car as it sits now has been completely changed the video is a bit old. I'm currently on IE stage 2 dual pulley beta file with Berk TCU custom tune
do you know if i can run this with a apr ecu tune or would i have to do a full ie tune?
You can run APR and IE trans tune no problem. That's what I was doing in this video
@Wr3nchen i have a 2012 Audi A7 Prestige would this tune work on mine cause i'm not sure if we have the same transmission
If you have a Zf8 yes it will work but they also offer tunes for DSG
@@Wr3nchen what really that's awesome does IE have DSG or would that be a different company if so who has it cause i neeeeed 🙂
@@DDM1200 IE offers both they have everything directly on there website
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....................................
Is zf8 not BMW name and Audi is Tiptronic ?
ZF is the actual manufacturer that makes the transmission for Audi. ZF8 is of course because it's an 8-speed. ZF tranmission are in a ton of cars. As far as tiptronic I'm not sure of and believe it's just a manual shift option like pedal shifters they just name it that
@@Wr3nchen hmm interesting. But on Stronic you can shift same manually. What's than the difference

This site will hopefully answer most of your questions
I just recently flashed my ZF8 with the IE tune but when I try and launch (foot on brake and give it gas) I get a warning to not press both acc & brake at the same time and it seems to go into a safe mode killing RPMs. Is it because I have a custom tune from a local tuner?
Launching while driving won't work you have to do it from a dead stop. I do know that PCM and TCM tunes do communicate with each other. So maybe your engine tune is not corresponding well with the trans tune.
@@Wr3nchen Yeah I was at a dead stop, like you said it must be because it's not a IE ECU tune
@@paulgarcia1087 Possibly the ecu tune could be the issue or your car has to meet all the requirements to initiate launch control
the IE website says you must have their ECU tune for the TCU tune to work. Its putting you into a limp mode
@@OhioBahn440you're right, I switched to a IE tune and all is well now thanks
