Presumably, when the amujlet was removed, her power was reduced again but by how much? Based on the letter Rumple wrote to Cora, Zelena is more powerful than Cora, and Cora was able to shield herself from the Dark Curse. So either Zelena got weaker or Regina got stronger.
Well considering that Regina beat Zelena with powerful light magic, I think Zelena knows better now. Because Regina could easily pull it out again and blast her and possibly kill her.
