Maybe but Regina wasn't there to fight Hook, she was there to hit him with some hard truths that he didn't want to hear. I think he regretted his decision to kill his father for her and she was trying to wake him up to reality that if he sent Emma and her family to the Underworld, he would regret it forever and as a dark one, forever is a very long time. Fortunately, at the end her words and seeing Emma, caused him to realize even his revenge wasn't worth losing Emma over and sacrificed himself
Not really. Regina's never been as powerful as the Dark One. Rumple let her get away with stuff she otherwise wouldn't, because he needed her to cast the Dark Curse. In a straight up fight with a Dark One who isn't a total idiot, though, she almost surely loses.

Killian not trusting Regins (With good reason), while he was the Dark One. Regina is trying to learn from her past errors, but Killian isn't taking any of it and not trusting her. And Killian was choking Regina by the end when she nearly overstepped a verbal boundary... Cue trust and anger issues from Killian. Though the Dark One has always had anger and trust issues. But still.
I love how Regina and Charmings are flawless heroes in this scenario Emma= don't get me even started, everything ever since the first episode of season is her fault cause she started all of it Hook=loosing his shit because of what Emma has done to him and threwing his anger not just on Emma, but also to people who were completely innocent. Rumple=just taking the chance to reunite with his drugs(power) by the mess Hook created and Emma is the cause of it.
