My Cali Tweed just arrived last week and I finally had an opportunity to sit down and play it for the first time last night. First MB I've ever owned or played. I must say it sounds fantastic. Biggest surprise was how loud it is even at 2W.
@filippo calderoni I would say usable at home, but barely. If you want to get decent cleans, definitely yes. But if you want those juicy cranked Tweed overdriven tones, borderline too loud tbh
So would you say that even 10 watts is way too loud for bedroom level? And 20 watts isn’t even a question for home use?
Cool video! Nice gear man!!!
Thanks for checking the video!
Ha, you’re a funny guy. Enjoyed your word play 💥. I want to hear that custom shop 50!
I do, I do love clean tones! They never get enough credit!
For Pedals, the Tweed is the way to go. Something about the 6V6 tones works.
Granted, you can dial the Mark 5 a little more to get a workable tone.
Good video
Mark 5 sounds thinner and more harsh. They would both have their uses though.
Fully agree!
"Clean sound" .....I do not understand this sorcery.
Lol
It’s when the tunes get underused. They are not happy
