“And, of course, the man doesn’t lie.” Best line ever!😂 Terrific video, Gavin! Especially loved when you pointed out all the ways the character is different from what we know about DT. “Baron Trump really is smart. He’s empathetic….He’s in pursuit of knowledge…He’s a paragon of moral virtue.”
Your presentation reminds me of this show that starts with stately music and a man in a large leather chair closes a literary work and proceeds to introduce something. It was I think a comedy movie or cartoon e would introduce.
I don't recall hearing anything about this story at the time. There were more lurid stories about him to read. Dredging up my knowledge of late 19th century American history, I did remember William Jennings Bryan and his "Cross of Gold" speech. It's just as well that he didn't win; otherwise he would have been shot instead of William McKinley. But I think Bryan is now remembered more for his part in the Scopes "Monkey Trial." On another note, I just received my official mail-in ballot. You can guess who I will not be voting for...
Found them whilst looking for hollow-earth books, and just struck me as an odd occurrence- exacerbated by all the crazy stuff people believe nowadays..
Yep. Can’t believe it’s so nip and tuck. Slightly dubious about relying on betting markets though- men twice as likely to gamble as women, and men are polling for Trump.

Thanks Pat!

Glad you liked it!

If I lose much more hair, perhaps “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”…

Ha- did not realise he was the Scopes guy!
Loved this. How on earth did you find those books? Such a funny video 😊

Two side to every coin! Polymarket odds at the moment Trump 54.9%, Kamala 44.7%. The people will make their choice.
