- Nashville's downtown "Let Freedom Sing" July 4th festivities on Thursday evening closed with veteran country star and Murfreesboro native Chris Young performing before an extensive, drone-assisted fireworks display soundtracked by the Nashville Symphony that offered a wild display over Lower Broadway in the humid evening air.
The late-arriving record crowd of approximately 355,000 Nashville area residents and tourists were often pleasantly awed by the spectacle, including 400 drones and 40,000 pounds of explosives flying 800 feet into Music City's skies. Развлечения
Up here in Buffalo, NY, I stumbled upon the Nashville fireworks on this site last year. Absolutely stunning display and without a doubt the best in the country if not the entire world.
I will get down there to witness your show in person within the next year or two.
Fantastic, just fantastic.
I don't know about the entire world, but in the nation, I agree. Everyone likes to talk about NYC fireworks saying it's the biggest show in the nation, but both NYC and Nashville fire off about the same amount of fireworks every year on the 4th of July. Over 40,000 lbs of fireworks. Most cities fire off about 7,000 to 15,000 lbs. The difference is the fireworks in NYC is more spread out and looks more like synchronized swimming, which is kinda dull IMO. The Nashville fireworks are right in your face, very loud, very rowdy, and not even remotely as closely synchronized. The result is an amazingly impressive and long finale. I prefer the very loud and rowdy fireworks in Nashville. If you've never been to Nashville, the 4th of July is definitely a great time to visit. It's a beautiful, fun city, with great people, and you really need to see this show in person to fully appreciate it.
Over 40,000? That’s insane. Will definitely get down there sooner rather than later.
@@fredf1912 You won't regret it at all... There are plenty of places to stay in the downtown area and the nice thing about Nashville is that everything downtown, including the fireworks are within walking distance. It's a very walkable town, which makes shopping, bar-hopping, and dining out a lot of fun.
@@sire3669thank you for your thoughtful comment👍 I’m going to pin it as the first comment that shows up.
Now that's what I call a fucking show
Love watching Nashville's fireworks every year. Hopefully make it there someday to see it in person.
I miss 4th of July in Nashville. Haven't seen them since I left in 2014. They are the absolute best fireworks show in the country in my opinion, and I've lived in many cities around the country. I live in the SF Bay Area now and I have no desire to go and see the fireworks out here. No show out here comes even remotely close. Perhaps I'll make my way out to Nashville next summer.
Thank you 🙏 great 👍 firework 🎆 with great 👍 display 👏👏👏🇺🇸☝️👋☮️

Thank you!👍I’m glad you got to be there too.
They better than the fireworks in New York in my opinion I bet they beautiful in person
I was in NYC a couple years ago and they are just so far away, that it’s hard to compare. Nashville is so much more of an amazing experience.
I’ve lived in Nashvile my whole life & I was in New York City last year on the 4th of July & I wasn’t impressed. I figured they would be awesome since it’s NYC but In my opinion Nashville fireworks are hands down the best in the nation
@@Imtheone1111yup. I was also in NYC a few years ago and it was a big nothing burger.
@@maxpatch67 i hope I get to see them in person one day New York better known for Christmas decorations than 4th of July stuff
I keep hearing that Nashville is number one in the nation Nashville is my hometown I would love to know if it's true or not leave a comment
THAT is 'Murica summed up. Brilliant display as always. Nashville proves yet again that they are the best. I need to travel from Phoenix next year just to witness this awesome display. Truly incredible, Tennessee!
