This is my new favorite bird channel because it gives so much value. Appreciate the generosity!
Useful video. It's always good to look at how we train our birds and how to improve exisiting behaviours!
Very helpful video. Thank you! I’m still doing lead desensitisation with my conure. He hates anything touching his neck.
Identical to positive reinforcement dog training
So helpful thanks 😊
Very helpful, I trained my bird to fly to me and point for him to go back just like your doing, nice presentation❤❤
Newts fist bump 😂😂😂😂🎉
You keep mentioning hand signals, so are verbal cues not as effective or not as much recommended in your opinion?
Also which one is nibbling on the mic? 😂 so cute
Both cues work fine provided you take the time to properly teach both- oftentimes auditory cues get pushed to the side by default unless you take the time to ensure they understand how to respond to it. That more of a training error than a learning error though- most people just focus on the physical cue while teaching so the physical cue gets learned!
I’m pretty sure my necklace was rubbing on the mic in this one!
