- In this video I make a wooden dice stool, seat from a sold block of Ash. It is not a difficult thing to make and is a nice addition and talking piece that would grace any room in your home. The Ash block came from a tree that was felled approximately 3-4 years ago and has been drying since.

Here is a twisted stool I also made from the same tree if you would like to have a look; • DIY Twisted Stool / En...
I used the Graff Termit disc ( amzn.to/3bqUzTj ) which Graff kindly sent me to do the shaping of the dice. It made the job easier and quicker while still keeping the control I needed. This disc is like the speedcutter disc also by Graff but you have much more control doing the finer detail. If there happens to be a nail or anything in the wood, no problem the Termit disc can cut through it without any damage to it!
You can get your Graff Termit disc here; amzn.to/3bqUzTj

Turned out amazing. The details you put in by rounding the corners and edges really give it that authentic look. Well done!
Thank you very much Gary.

Looks great & I'm just about to start mine. How do you get the 320mm template shape (the rounded square) for the 6 faces?

This is one of the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Excellent, excellent, excellent! Good job, great video. I gotta try this. Doubt I’ll get the dots in the right place cause I don’t know how to do the math, I’m old and can’t figure out stuff anymore. If anyone can give me some advice I would really appreciate it. It’s 3:00AM and I’m not thinking too good.....hmmmmm, maybe I should just forget about it.
Thank you Robert! Go for it and make one! I had to look at a small dice about 50 times to make sure the holes were in the right position. Ps got to bed and get some sleep 😊
Do it on a sheet of paper first until you figure out how to get them in the right place.
Sehr cool geworden 👍
Vielen Dank
Epic work ! Thanks for trying out the blade! We hope you liked it
Thanks guys!
Am I the only one who enjoys the machine noises in the quick motion? 😂❤️
Very cool bud, maybe fill the holes with epoxy resin?
Thanks Mr B! 👍 I actually tried it on one of the holes on the end grain but it started to seep all across the grain. It would have looked very messy if I had left it. It would work great on the sides but not so good on the end grain.
@@EamonWalshDIY Ahh, ok bud. Nice job.
ThAts nice
Thank you 🎲
All I can say is wow. And do you classes?

Eamon, I don't know how comfortable it feels to sit on these dice sockets :) but it's looks amazing!
Thank you. You dont feel them but saying that I have a fairly soft behind! 😂 They could be filled with epoxy or just painted on.
@@EamonWalshDIY Epoxy is good solution!
