This is my favourite track from the Axis/Bold As Love album. I just love the way that guitar skitters around on the verse before the last one (I believe). A genius bit of music, shot through with a lot of humour too. I love the way he says, "won't be around tomorrow" as a reply to the incessant chorus of "Think I better wait 'till tomorrow!" Just brilliant. 😎🎸🎸
I was just learning this last night from your old video. Great song. Waterfalls would be a great one to do a lesson on. Please do some Band of Gypsy’s songs too. I miss your Hendrix lessons more than ANYTHING! A lot of people miss them. There are still a bunch of Jimi songs to do. Cheers brother!
This reminds me of my gigging days in the 80s and 90s. We got alot of hendrix requests. I think we probably played the entire smashes and hits album. I love can you see me and cross town traffic. Good memories. Great job Marty!
One of those Hendrix songs that I never think of, but is another really interesting song. I'll have to work on those two-finger hammer-ons and pull-offs.
Thank you Marty❣️❤️ This is so good on the detail, and I can really hear the ends of those little bite size pieces ringing, which makes it that much clearer to me. The best man! 🤗🦋 This is the perfect puzzle for me to lose myself in and steady the day. (floatation device emoji) :)
This is fantastic Marty. I hope you release a couple more SRV/Hendrix lessons to go along with your new course (which is excellent and well worth it). PS - thanks for making this stuff seem possible to a guy with smaller hands
Another dope lesson Marty! Any chance you could do a lesson on Rolling Stones "Laugh, I nearly died". Been looking for videos/tabs but can't find any good ones.
Hey Marty. Im probably not the first to ask. But can you do a tutorial of Zakk Wyldes helly kitty nib Black sabbath cover. Would be much appreciated. And, no, I'm not kidding
I noticed you’re playing with with a Boss amp? Is that your choice for amps? I have a Marshall Code 50, but it’s not putting out the clean sound I want. Suggestions?
Hey Marty, thanks for the Wait Until Tomorrow guitar lesson. Greatly appreciated. Also picked up your new Hendrix course too. A wealth of Hendrix knowledge!!
I'm not one to complain. But this is crazy I have to learn it both ways because my hands are big. I'd rather learn it with just the thumb so that way I don't have to adjust..
Marty I love ya but your really pissin me off with this one. But it's ok! I got it ! I just want to speak for my over the thumb players when I say it's A LOT easier our way..
