For day VFR there is no requirement for a manifold pressure gauge for a constant speed prop as you stated. FAR 91.205(b)(8) requires it for "each altitude engine". Section 1.1 defines that as "producible from seal level to an established altitude" which is things like turbocharged engines. That being said its probably not a good idea to fly a constant speed prop without knowing the manifold pressure. Great video. Thank you!
I was able to find it (although a year later...) docs.google.com/presentation/d/1xuKX4l2uCj8NYo_XTsd-qxnJoK3U9cPoAdd5bUJNKuw/edit#slide=id.g97028ce1c7_0_2
apologies for replying four months too late, but i would suggest reporting back to your school/instructor and they will surely tell you what the next steps are.
You may be evaluated to CPL instead of PPL completion standards for maneuvers...and "may" be checked on CPL maneuvers (except those for which the aircraft is not certified).

Thank you for this useful presentation!

nice one. Just learned this one after I fact checked you. Good catch for all to know.
@@razorseal One note on that being required or not is while the FAR may not require it, the MEL may. Keep up the great videos!
Excellent!

Good info. Thx.
Would I still be able to use the acronym ATOMATOFLAMESFLAPS for the Day/Night VFR required equipment/instrument list when flying a G1000?
Yes
How can I get a certificate number for my private pilot license I have lost it

is a flight review standard for commercial and private pilots or does a commercial pilot have to prepare differently for it?
