- Vocal Online is a project initiated by renowned Danish pop-choir Vocal Line.
994 singers from 40 countries have participated in singing Coldplays "Viva La Vida" in Jens Johansen´s vocal arrangement to celebrate the community and joy of music through the difficult times of Corona Virus and worldwide lockdowns.

Why is everyone all of a sudden covering this song in April - May of 2020?
If you play this at +1.75 speed, it's not too bad.
Question: Our church is looking to do this with our congregation without losing resolution with our music director and the congregation participating > what software format is this that there is no latency involved?
Hi Harleen. Unfortunately, it is pretty much impossible with current technology to sing together over the internet, as there is too much latency between the singers. The way we did it was to ask the singers to record themselves singing their voice while listening to our studio recording of this tune, and then send us the recording. That explains why everybody has headphones on while singing, as they are listening to the song at the same time. Afterwards we spent hours and hours synchronizing all the 1000 recordings, so that they would fit together in this video. Best regards from Vocal Line!
