I play competitive thinking that i know almost everything there is about Competitive pokemon, then i see videos like this and it makes me think that i am not as good as i am, shows that it's a great video you made! Really like this content and i am sure others would like to see more of this
Surprisingly I already seem to inherently do this despite not feeling like I'm that good at the game. My biggest weakness isn't battling itself, but learning to team build and especially learning to ev right instead of the 2 252s and a 4
@@wanderingtyphlosion7332 That's great! Many struggle getting the hang of team preview. I have already made a teambuilding video and an advanced EV guide if either of those interests you make sure to have a peek!
Unpopular opinion, but knock off needs to be re worked or they need do do what they did with u-turn and make other type versions of it like flip turn, parting shot, and such. Knock off is suck a critical move that in vgc and singles you see it on at least 2 mons on every team.
I agree I think Knock Off is a bit too powerful. It's just the strongest physcial attack around with the incredible effect of removing items. If I could change it I would make it 45 or 50 base power so the increased power is 67 or 75. This would make it less than moves like Crunch. There should be a trade off of less damage for removing the item, not higher base power and removing the item.
@@TheDelybird 60bp or lower on knock off would stack with technician before even applying the buff from removing items, making scizor and the like absolutely redonkulous with a 112bp nuke if it was just 50bp to start with, which it can boost further with SD and tera. That's why gamefreak kept it at 65.
@@Wadusher True, I was not considering technician. But in VGC technician is not very common so I think it would be fine for technician users to be able to get the 112 BP if the base power was 50. Most things using knock off like Incineroar or other darks types like Tyranitar are already surpassing 112 BP with STAB.
@@TheDelybird That's mainly because there's not a whole lot of technician users in the first place, but who knows how that might change in the future. We don't know if in gen 10 the next Kingambit will also be the next technician Maushold but with a dark type. Scizor with 112bp knock off is one thing but imagine that on a mon with STAB and even more power crept stats being introduced...
When they were introduced in gen 8 only male got trick room, while only female had follow me. In gen 9 you can get female from raids that has trick room and teach it follow me. I think it was an oversight that was never addressed. But male always had access to trick room starting from gen 8. I also don't believe female ever had access to expanding force but I could be wrong on that point. So in gen 9 both can use trick room.

Lycopocky what’s good my glorious king🙏
Thanks, there is always something to learn or another way to improve, that's part of why I love VGC so much!
I just started VGC and this is the most helpful video I've seen by far
@@dench_gaming Appreciate it! When I started I couldn't find anything like this and even now there's not much so I'm trying to fill the niche.
Just want to say your videos are really genuinely helpful and insightful, you guys deserve more attention!
Love to hear it! My goal was to be clear concise and insightful so glad to hear I'm reaching that at least a bit!
Great video, really informative!
Been looking for a vid this in-depth about team preview as that is what I feel I struggle with most. This helped a ton! Instant sub!
Glad I could help! Team preview is definitely a tough skill to get down pat. Thanks for the sub!

Hey that’s a cool team you got there
Wish I could take credit for it, it's like top 44 solid.
Another Deli-banger
is pokepaste for the team avaible?
Yea here it is, forgot to add it in the description. pokepast.es/1e4091667a15fa36
Wait did they change indeedee male to learn trick room. Because to my knowledge it got trick room taken away like female got expanding force removed
