Sky attack tech is badass, also they need to buff the move maybe you get a free focus energy turn one then take the crit chance on the move off or maybe if tailwind is up you can attack in one turn
tailwind buff is such a good idea plus, the name "Sky Attack" Doesn't necessarily imply a bird using it, so it could be given to non-bird flying types while it would still make thematic sense which is nice because Gyarados would definetely make use of flying physical STAB Edit: Just realized that the japanese name for Sky Attack is ゴッドバード which translates to God Bird, so ignore that second part
Been running a set with Hone Claws, Stone Edge, Drill Run, and Power Trip that's worked quite well, as Hone Claws benefits every attack to some degree.
@clouds6566 hardly anyone uses it, and ever since Haydunn demonstrated it's effectiveness with Weakness Policy and stat boosting moves, been trying with whatever learns, as it's less commonly distributed than Stored Power
It's crazy- I've been thinking about Bombirdier lol as a design, I just rly like it's aesthetics, right? A Dark type that drops Rocks from above? Realistically, this Bird would be a terror x D but it's also a "Dark" type thing to do, so well-designed. This set seems so effective! Once you've got that 1st Accuracy boost, Stone Edge & more importantly, Sky Attack, shouldn't miss in normal conditions. Do you think Hard Stone, Life Orb or a Salac Berry would be effective for what this boy does? You could do a wild Fling set w a Hard Stone (IDK if it gets Fling x D) S/O Thumbnail! : D Sandstorm! Let's go! Yuhs! PS TL:DR is ok but I'll say it again: Drillbert the Excadrill keeps shooting for the spot light x D it's very characteristic at this point. PPS I need to learn to watch the full video before commenting but dude, yea, the Cursed Body Banette was stealing moves out there. Pretty exciting moments! Sry TL:DR 😅
The crit against the Great Tusk in the second match might have actually mattered. If that Tusk was physically defensive and Bomberdier Adamant then it only has a 25% chance to actually knock it out, so it was in the opponents favor. The crit ensured that it did knock the Great Tusk out
I'm pretty sure Stone Edge does have a guaranteed hit chance after hone claws. At +1, moves are at ×4/3 accuracy, which is 106% by my math on an 80% move. An easy rule of thumb for calculating accuracy modifiers is that it starts at 3/3 × accuracy (move). Increases to accuracy (including lowered target evasion) increase the numerator by one for each stage, where accuracy decreases (increased target evasion) increase the denominator by one
I like it but I feel that making it the same typing as Mandibuzz was a mistake. Edit: I didn't mention Honchkrow and Yvetal because I don't think they are allowed in this generation? Correct if I'm wrong but if they gave it another typing I feel it would stand out a lot more.
@@TeamBardKittysongit does stand out in having 3 stabs. Conceptually dark/ flying makes sense. It’s not a bird that makes rocks or has them anywhere from the body, it drops them from mountains onto below targets
Thank you for your constant videos. Always using pokemon people hardly ever use because everything has potential in the game. Just gotta have the right them to back them up.
To me, it would be better If both Hapini and Blissey was Green in their Shiny forms, Chansey came first, and I like the fact that with the egg she looks like a half of an avocado.
I had someone kick my ass with a choice specs on one of these. Several times, it switched in, and it took me several turns to realize what was going on there.
I actually really like Bombirdier in design as well, sort of based on the stork theme but also the heron/crane, which I have some fly near my house in my area.
The idea of bombirdier is interesting cause you think it's like a stork carrying babies but it's actually evil and just carries rocks to hit mons with. Shame that the stats are a tad lackluster outside of attack.
You inspired me to catch a 2nd Bombirdier mostly for the phone claws strategy the first, the former Titan uses scope lens too boost its accuracy, the 2nd one has the teensy title because why not
Haydunn please find a good strategy to make use of the cell battery item. When uou get hit by an electric attack it raises attack or Sp. Attack, i forget which one
@Haydunn how do you capture gameplay and if you use a capture card what capture card do you use because I am looking for a expensive capture card that doesn’t require me to need a pc/computer like I just want to be able to plug in my switch to the capture card and start capturing gameplay
Actually a goat against Indeedee since noone knows it is a dark type 😂, I tried it long ago as a setter of tailwind, hard to pull it off but rock slide is crazy damage

What Tera type is the house? I've never played gen 9 outside of showdown. Edit: It's rock. I'm stupid. Edit2: I'd also like it I'd you'd teach team-building. I've never been good at it.
A forgotten Pokemon using a forgotten move (when's the last time you've heard Sky Attack mentioned?), it could only be Haydunn
The last time I saw Sky Attack was when I was at a gaming store with Pokemon Ga-ole and saw some kids playing with it with a Ho-oh
Last time I had it was G/S/C on a Moltres lol
Way better than brave bird’s recoil

Why power trip. Knock off or sucker better
@clouds6566 hardly anyone uses it, and ever since Haydunn demonstrated it's effectiveness with Weakness Policy and stat boosting moves, been trying with whatever learns, as it's less commonly distributed than Stored Power
That's something I can try with Bombirdier.... I see no use for tailwind.. maybe weakness policy with hone claws for extra damage
So essentially this Bird has 3 STAB option with Dark, Flying and Rock......I might actually try and use it now
If it has a Tera type that isn't Rock, Dark, and Flying, it has four STABs.
Same energy as Dhelmise getting effectively Steel STAB from an ability while being grass/ghost
@@slimskink88double tera rock stab is all it has that is unique though.
Rocky payload, hone claws, stone edge is crazy. With Tera is insane
18:44 That Cinderace is called "Kaga bolitas". Cuz is a rabbit😂 (poops little balls in spanish, misspelled as should be a C instead of K.)
"Green eggs and ham lookin @**" callin Chansey fat 😅
He so witty but I love it. Nice match my guy.
Dhelmise crying in the corner knowing it has the exact same ability but for Steel
Aerodactyl needs rocky payload

I'm confused, Is Sky Attack really useful in this set ? If you have acrobatics, you could just not give it an item at all and free a move slot.
Dam I tried home claws bombadier recently and it was great 😂 sky attack is a great option though!
Bombardier can technically have FOUR STABs, since you can also Terastallize it into another type it has as coverage...
