I have watched many of your videos and am still amazed at how ingenious your methods are. In the majority of gardening videos by some other people I fast forward as much as possible but yours have such great music I just sit and watch in its entirety.
I have 4 butternut squash growing on my terrace for the past 6 weeks. I have not cut any leaves or branches off. I wasn't clear on the pruning advice here. Are you suggesting that you leave the top 6 branches and then cut all branches below? Would I need to do any further pruning? Thank you for a lovely video by the way.

Butternut squash are heavy feeders, pay attention to the leaves in this video, they are obviously deficient in many micronutrients, like magnesium, sulfur, calcium, etc. butternut squash leaves of a healthy plant will be an extremely dark green, he removing the flowers to force energy into to fruit development because he knows there isn’t near enough available for the plant to do it naturally, when you do this the fruit isn’t even worth eating because the plant has basically been forced into throwing together a fruit the best it could… ridiculous!
