And when you think about all the hate and unlove w220 is regarded ...ok, maybe interior quality and rust protection is not the best, but mechanically this was and is a proper Benz! Thank you guys for giving us such a delight!

I would have loved to take it on if I had time/funds to get her going, unfortunately it got sent for scrap as they were moving their business and needed it gone. That's BS. There was a significant rust problem and poor interior materials but engine and transmission were bulletproof. I've also never occured any electrical problems or with airmatic. It's just a solid, reliable and very comfy car to drive. I'm very doubtful a W223 will last over 20 years.
When merc wasnt shitty. This is what people still think they get meanwhile newer mercs if not top of the line arent better if not worse than standard cars

У меня s430 USA американец. Упирается в отметку 210. Работает ограничитель. Но у меня на 210 около 6 тыс. Оборотов. И если я сниму ограничитель, то думаю 220 пойдёт и упрется в отсечку. Передачи не хватит . У меня 5ти ступка вроде. 99 год. Кто знает, объясните пожалуйста.
