I totally agree with him about the fact that hosts won't know about what the true Turo is until they have at least 1000 trips and a couple of years experience under their belt. What I love about him is he really does want to help out other hosts. Unlike some super successful hosts that don't want to see other hosts succeed!
This is Goals right here! Working on getting a commercial location right near the airport so I can attract more bookings and scale to this level!💪 Awesome content as always Jho👍
Why would people rent from Turo instead of big rental corporations - price and availability of cars ? One thing i notice most hosts have limited mileage but big rental companies have unlimited mileage. Check in and out after hours might be a challenge for Turo hosts maybe?
Turo may offer more competitive prices compared to traditional rental companies in certain cities, especially if guests book out further in advance (a lower trip fee + early bird discounts). Turo's process is more streamlined, allowing for faster bookings and pickups without the need to visit a rental counter. We personally do contactless handoffs so guest can pick up the vehicle at anytime day or night. Plus, there is a more diverse selection of cars (unique or specialty vehicles) that may not be available through traditional rental companies. Renting from Turo provides a more personal experience as guest interact directly with the vehicle owners. This may provide a more authentic and localized experience, as renters may get recommendations from the vehicle owner about local attractions or hidden gems.
Hello Jho, Great video explaining how Turo works, and sharing you guys experiences. Alvin is full of knowledge and happy to share with people. I have Toyota Camry 2013 le model and I was going to put on Turo. Is that a good car put it on Turo platform and how much should I charge to rent the vehicle? Thank you for your time!
How do you co host? If turo requires to have as your listing to be registered under your name or company’s. Do the investor must relinquish the title???

That’d be a perfect location!
Alvin is such an inspiration - thank you for an amazing interview.
Thank you! Alvin is so great!
Inspiring,🤙🏿🥂
Great video. Very informative. I reached out to Alvin on the phone number provided with a question and hoping to hear back really soon.
Glad it was helpful! I hope he’s able to help you in whatever you need!
How does the taxation work, the income will be on your books, do you write off what you pay them (the 65% less their monthly expenses?)
It's interesting for me too, I'm going to list my friends car and share profit with him.
I would imagine it's an expense. But I would contact a CPA to make sure.
Hi! I’m an Uber driver and my car has various small dings and scratches from use all over the years. Can you share is your auto body repair guy?
Are you in JAX too?
With car sync going away for Turo hosts I wonder how that’s going to impact his business?
Supposedly Turo will be bringing out their own tools, but we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m sure Alvin will find a way to make it work!

That sounds like a great vehicle to list! Depending on where you are located you can probably charge anywhere from $30-$50 a day for it.

Turo does not require you to have the vehicle titled under the hosts name.
Hello jho,
How can I get a co host service contract sample from Alvin.
Hi, I'm not sure if he offers samples to people. You can ask though! Send him a facebook message to "Alvin Cleanliness"
can someone share a co-host agreement ?
You might be able to contact Alvin and get one from him.
