I went to Sanya in 2017 and loved it. definitely wanna go back again. It has everything you want for a holiday, good hotels, an amazing beach, wonderful food, rich in culture, and duty-free shopping, what else can you ask for?

Hainan has it’s beauty, but.. it doesn’t hold a candle to the neighboring tropical countries, much less Hawaii, LOL. The beaches are rocky and quite polluted, and the Chinese culture experience is subpar compared to other places in China with much longer history.
