Tom teaching them young doesn't hurt a thing and teaches work ethics & values !! My Grandson is 13 now and will be running the riding mower this year, with his dads instructions/training, so he can earn some cash this summer !!
I don't know Tom, If this concrete thing doesn't work out you have a future in video walk throughs for the real estate professionals! lol Beautiful Place
You guys should do that together. "Haus & Morgan presents..."
Lol! Hey Mike! Both my favorite channels in one place!
Great video! Nice house and loved that circular driveway! You should reach out to some of the Pittsburgh players for shirts! Especially pitchers!! Notice the last name!
I don’t know if Donna would go for that
@Tom ... KEEP TEACHINGTHEM YOUNG!!!! I was born and raised in the city, but with a lot of relatives who had farms. As kids we all (3 boys) went "down home" during most of our youth summers to our Grandfathers dairy farm! Great education on work ethics and 'git 'er done' attitudes. For myself, I learned how to drive a team of horses plowing a field, or hauling a hay wagon from field to barn, by the time I was 11! My Dad was a Union Journeyman Carpenter who also took us to work when he could, and taught us the proper way to do things, and WHY to do them the way we were taught! PLEASE keep encouraging these things! Job well done! 🤩🤩🤩
After a 35 year career selling Concrete Equipment and Supplies You and your Guys are Terrific. Beautiful work.
That's fancy pole joining skills. I can't believe that's the same trailer.
It's great that you are teaching them when they are young this will be something they will not forget. I was taught at age 8 how to uses a tractor and backhoe in are orange groves . I also worked with my dad in plumbing at age 8 . I thank him for teaching me how to work and the values, and ethics . Thanks Dad.
Kids driving equipment at young age is the best! Life lessons for sure👍
Excellent concrete work 👍 Impressive trailer restoration 😊 Although it was a joke about starting them young, my father started me driving/operating equipment when I was 8 years old. It was pretty standard for farm kids. Good instruction and supervision goes a long way and instills skills for the future. I was solo bailing by 12 years old, and could drive an 18 speed transmission by 16. Good video
A + on the joints cut. Another great pour, with attention to details. Nice video drop on Sunday...please keep them coming.
Tom everyone could learn so much from you. You breed success into your family and it is awesome to watch. You teach things they would never learn in college. BRAVO!
You guys are artists!!
Very,Very talented!!
I was a machinist in a shipyard and all the other crafts would come to us to sharpen their bits. No drill doctor. They would try to sharpen them themselves and wound grind them backwards, meaning that the cutting edge was lower than the back edge.
Love the video Tom and the big big house , allso your work .
Nice work getting the sidewalk groove just right!!
I think that is awesome that you work with your grandchildren to operate equipment. I drove a John Deere 4020 at 8 years old. Memories and experiences that last a lifetime
Broken on eight n fords then Ford 4000 SU. Then 4020s
Starting out younguns driving equipment and learning how to work is a great thing
Nice Video Tom, the job looked really good. The trailer came out nice even the decals. Looked like a brand new trailer.
I also noticed how much light is in the shop, and when you panned the camera i saw and remembered the new ceiling and lights. Well worth the cost, it made a world of difference in the shop.
Outstanding home, and a builder using your company on that build speaks volumes about you guys! Thanks for letting me in there with your video.
One definitely doesn't get this opportunity many times, but what a truly unique and wonderful. 😊😊😊
So true!
Sharpening drill bits is a skill that is fading away. Working as a millwright I saw some crazy ways that people sharpened bits. Some could have been used as a center punch. Teaching people to use the face of the wheel and not the side was difficult. It was nice to see it done right. Great presentation. 😊 I’ve always kept a grinding wheel just for bits and chisels. Nice looking work on the concrete too. Pretty wild. 😁
Thank you very much
Trailer turned out nice👍
Trailer looks great!! So does the concrete work ❤
Thank you for the house tour!! And amazing work on your part as always
Thank you!! 😊
what a house .so glad they let you showcase it for us.and your work is in line with the rest of the job.
Awesome thanks
I forgot to mention in Philadelphia I must have saw a 30 or 40 kids all riding their e-bikes together in a pack. Used to be dirt bikes and now it's e-bikes
Good as new! All your work is thorough and painstaking in even the most minor details, which I call splendid. Thank you.
Awesome job on the concrete and the trailer turned out nice!
The garage looks great with that new ceiling and lights .
Thanks for the invite to view the house, beautiful job on the concrete and radiused expansion joins. 👍👍
Nice job tell you what Tom you do outstanding work with your crew outshine victory 🤔and what a house mega 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks the victory guys do pretty well
Your channel deserves way more subs. True concrete channel here
I appreciate that!
I know you show the boy everything, I was on tractors and working the fields before I was 8. Good on you, and did alot of stuff on the farm because it needed to be done. Keep teaching
I’m 70 years old but at the age of 8 years old I was driving a tractor with a hay bailer with people on the wagon stacking hay or straw. So I’ve taught both of my kids to drive at an early age too.
Get 'em driving Tom.. the younger the better.. and I'll bet off camera that's exactly what happens.. Excellent!
Well, you know
Tom , a very interesting job to follow. I like these much better than the monopoly homes 10' apart. I do think on a home of this caliber they went a little cheaper on the concrete finishes. A stamped stone or at least a rolled slate on the steps and sidewalks. That would have completed the home details so much better than brushed concrete. I'm sure you agree. Thanks for taking us to work with you. I learn so much.
10 years old I was driving tractors and farm trucks
Trailer looks awesome..! Turned out great..!
Thank you sir.
I do not see a problem with a 8 year old doing a tug test . I had my son on a tractor at 5 years old and on a backhoe by time he was 8 years old start them young and teach them right way and they will be able to do more than most adults in this day and time .
21:07 Left reverse light is burned out on the dump truck. 👍
Nice guys😊
Great crew you have Tom , work safe & smart , job turns out very nice
It's a place that's fitting for your work. Amazing!!!
As always you guys did amazing concrete work. That house is literally unreal as you stated. Totally reminds me of all the old beautiful mansions we have in western PA. But much more energy efficient, I assume. If you ever read this, Executive Developers, I'm glad you do work in my home turf. Thanks for sharing, Haus'. Also, Tom, thank you for the drill bit demonstration. I will try and use that, now that I know how to do it.
Great job on the center radius cuts! No harm in teaching them young! Heck back in the day 8 and 9 year olds were running tractors in the field. I think if they learn young they are better and more responsible when they actually get their licenses.
Good job guys
Nice rebuild on that trailer
Excellent work and design and love how it accentuates the home! Thank you for the home tour and builder shout out.
Another good one bud
Great video! Learned a lot!
Glad to hear it!
Awesome video
Great content
Thanks for sharing
Have a day
My Grandpa taught me to sharpen drill bits on the ginder - He took two 6-point nuts and glued them together, it is not the perfect angle but it is almost spot on. that drill bit should fit in the angle those nuts make. Works like a charm.
Nice restoration job on the trailer hard to believe it's the same trailer.
I grew up on a farm here in little New Zealand. Did all sorts of driving before my teenage years. These days though, you can’t sneeze without someone complaining. Bring back the gold ol days of the 70s and 80s
I install those beam ceilings in Florida.
WOW!! A gorgeous home. Nice job by the builder and designers. The trailer looks better than new.
You and your team do fantastic work.
We live inner city, don't own any big equipment. I can tell you my son (only child), was driving on private property long before any of his friends. He's in college now, and teaching some of his non-driving friends to drive. FYI, it looked like your truck lights weren't working correctly.
When I was 8 I was driving the the R Johndeer and the water and grain trucks. By myself. It was the 60’s. Has to get the farm work done so you did what you had to do
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
Great job guys! Go get a sip of coffee!
Nice curve cut!
Tom that house lt is so beatiful and your concrete work was awesome
When I was 8 years old I was driving farm equipment already so your grandson driving a truck I say go for it as long as he can reach the pedals
What a beautiful home. My home is as bif as that great room.
I worked with a guy who could sharpen bits, me not so much. Great job with that trailer.
Good morning to you all
Good morning
Very nice homes like that come with very nice mortgage payments! Hell of a nice place!
Nice Vid!
I'm surprised about how you made checking the brakes on the trailer so difficult. Just make a vertical chalk mark on each tire side wall, at the bottom and look for rotation on all the tires in one single test.
That is definitely another way to do it
And they say the American economy is bad. With that house, obviously not.
Tom trailer looks good concrete looks good , but driver side reverse light out and it looks like your rear brakes don't seem to light up on the dump. Just FYI! Thanks for the content
I did notice the back up light I did not notice the brake light. Thanks.
Getting kids started is so key. It is a lot more fun to move a pile of dirt with a skidsteer than to play video games...
I agree
Saw your attempt at epoxy on Outdoors with the Morgans. Do you have a little butane torch, lightly passing over with one while it cures will pop bubbles, wouldn't suggest doing epoxy with high humidity either. Did you use a drill mixer ? Try not to mix so vigorously to minimize bubbles, turned out pretty though. Good luck with bigger project
I install carpet and live in Florida. Some of the house ive worked in down by the water are like that house. Millions of dollar mansons crazy the money people have
Go for one million!
Lets get that 100K
Yes
Thats the kind of groover Ryan from Victory uses.
I like your video's but please don't loose the benefits of keeping them simple and to the point. Lots of background music doesn't help and you need either find a way to level out your voice over, too often it becomes VERY loud while you are talking over the background noise. How about trying to do your voice over separately during editing? It will even out the voice AND allow you to change your comments to better fit what's going on. Just a thought, hope your year is off to a great start!
Ok, thanks
you have one backup light on the truck
I've done a lot of that type of work with coffered ceilings
Tom, do you ever stain concrete? Thinking about this for my new shop/mancave. Keep up the great videos!
My grandfather and father did the same thing with me as a youngster and I do the same with mine. It taught me a lot and made me respect stuff that could potentially cause a bunch of damage or hurt you or someone else. In my opinion the worst thing to do is to take an inquisitive kid and not take the time to teach them.
....................G'day Tom,
when 11 I learned to stick-weld and braze. That was 1953
There is nothing wrong with what you are doing with your grandkids. You are teaching the next generation of people who may be interested in keeping the family business going into the future.
They can’t learn that out of a book you have to get in seat and feel what it’s doing
❓How long must vehicles stay off a pad like that?
Those screws are almost to short
Random question, did you get rid of the kubota mini that you tumble bugged ?
like titanium bits best for staleness
TOM, is there a chance you could say where you purchased those deck screws for your trailer!
Local hardware store CT McCormick
Nice job.How much is that house(WOW)
Watching you put those screws in the wood. They look way to short. Some of them looked like they didnt get tight.
No, they were all tight all 50 million
50 million holes Tom ? Surely you mean "four thousand holes (in Blackburn, Lancashire)" ?
No, it felt like 50 million holes
Tom those screws looked a bit short…
How come you dont use stick jointers to avoid using the screed bord
I cannot get them perfectly straight like we like
Love you work bro outstanding
I think Steve needs to take over!
Nice property to bad they can’t get rid of that airport noise
you have no brake lights on your truck and one back up light out
Who cares
Can you show us your wood shop ?
Sure
The shout out is ok, but how about a link to his RUclips channel?
I don’t know if he has a RUclips channel
That was funny, but i wouldn't have been surprised if had done the tug test.
