Skin care routine in teenagers
It is best to keep your skin care routine simple in your teens. This is the decade where you start experimenting with make up and that can lead to acne eruptions, allergies etc. Try to stick to a simple skin care routine and remember to use a sunscreen daily.
Oily / combination skin:
Moisturiser : Use a light gel based moisturiser every time you wash your face. Wash your face only twice a day. Try to keep use of concealers and foundations to a minimum. Make sure you remove make up properly with an oily free make up remover at night.
Face wash : Use a salicylic acid based face wash of your skin is oily. If you have acne then you can use a face wash which contains benzoyl peroxide. Apply the face wash, lather it, leave it on for 2-3mins and then wash it off.
Sunscreen: Use a gel based sunscreen with SPF 30 on a regular basis.
Diet :. Try to keep your sugar and milk intake to the minimum if you get acne frequently.
Acne control : you can use benzoyl peroxide gel or salicylic acid as spot treatment. Do not pick on your skin or try to pop your acne as it will leave behind a scar or a dark spot. If you have moderate to severe acne, it is best to visit a dermatologist and get it treated.
Dry skin
Moisturiser: This is the most important component of your skin care. Use a moisturiser which contains liquid paraffin or shea butter or cocoa butter, this will help in hydrating the skin for a long time. Always apply a thick moisturiser before going to bed. Try to not keep the air conditioner temperature too low and do not sleep directly under a fan. This will dry your skin out even more. Oil such as almond oil or coconut oil can be used to remove make up.
Face wash : Use a light non- foaming face wash meant for dry sensitive skin. Stay away from scrubs and foaming face washes. Avoid using hot water.
Sunscreen : Use a cream or lotion formulation of sunscreen over your moisturiser.
Diet : try to take food rich in omega 3 & 6 fatty acids such as nuts, seeds ( flax seeds, chia seeds), fish and sea food.
Normal skin
Moisturiser : Use a light water based moisturiser twice a day. Always use a moisturiser every time you wash your face. Remove make up properly before going to bed in order to avoid acne.
Face wash: You can use a non-foaming face wash twice a day.
Sunscreen : use a gel formulation of sunscreen with SPF 30. Reapply it every 2 hours.
Diet : try to take food rich in omega 3 & 6 fatty acids such as nuts, seeds ( flax seeds, chia seeds), fish and sea food.

I used to have a dull face. But then I got glowing skin without pimples and dark spots by following these steps. -:
1. Drinking 3 to 4 liters of water daily.
2. Eating carrots or drinking carrot juice every day.
3. Using Littlextra Ricebery face wash daily, which is derived from black rice water known for its superior skin benefits compared to regular white rice water.
4. Engaging in intense workouts at the gym and sweating heavily.
5. Steaming my face or whole body once every 15 days.
Ricebeery is perfect for all types of skin. Additionally, it's dermatologist approved. I loved using the face wash, and it doesn't have any fragrance.
Rice berry face wash is so so very nice. I've tested many face washes, but none deliver like rice berry does for my acne. My face feels refreshed and has a natural glow after each wash. I also use rice berry vitamin C face serum in the morning, which is pH balanced.
Once I finished using plums face wash previous month, I began using riceberry face wash the following month. Surprisingly, riceberry was more effective and provided positive outcomes.

I have dry skin ,and recently while I shaved my facial hair, with sanfe face razor , I got little bumps all over my face , I used salisylax 6 to get rid of those , although the bumps gone but my skin got very sensitive ,dry and flaky .I had to visit a dermatologist after that.
so, I request you, to please make a video on facial hair removal at home , with do's and don't so we can avoid getting bumps. there's a lot of on the internet about this topic , but none of them are skin specialist , so can't completely trust on them .

For dry skin, going with serum based product would be the best choice. Orimii Skincare's Sunscreen Shield SPF30 would be the best choice to go with!

what face wash and moisturizer do you recommend for combination skin with very dry areas outside of the t zone and black/white heads in t zone? My skin is so dry on my cheeks that I get large, inflamed dry spots when I wash my face more than once a day with a non foaming, hydrating face wash (cerave hydrating face wash) and a thick moisturizer (cerave cream). But I struggle with black/white heads on chin and nose when I only wash once a day. I also use a retinol on my forehead for texture and wrinkles that I have from sun damage (the ordinary w squalene). im 20 btw

I tried cetaphil dam and bioderma autoderm intensive baume but it feels suffocating on my skin.. Very sticky and greasy... As a person who struggled with acne, the excela moisturiser for oily and acne prone skin by cipla is the bombbb! It's so light weight and absorbs into my skin quickly! It has literally changed my skin along with a few other products.

Can you suggest creams for darkening neck. I don’t know since past weeks my neck tends to get darker day by day.
I am using Vaseline complete 10. It's helping me a lot to get rid of my tan on neck. Also you can use tomato juuce. Apply daily on dark area for 20 minutes and wash with Normal water. Use besan ubtan alternative days. Do not forget to add organic honey in ubtan.
@chandni indiraraj . Use licorice powder, raw milk and wild turmeric into paste n apply it on your neck... I was also suffering from dark neck problem but this remedy helped me 😀

Thank you so much for the video , this was the video i had been searching for , as a 20 year old female , i can't afford expensive skin care and i have seen alot of ads and RUclips videos of niacinamide and salicylic acid such things for skin problems treatment , i tried buying them but they all are out of my budget cause again even if i use those acid serums i have to moisturise it still .
