    He explains it as basically subharmonic singing, he's just got insane control over it!

    Subscribed my dude! Being a singer yourself, I'd love to see your reaction to Stitch "Feels Like Nothing". Stitch may have the best polyphonic technique on the planet; he's able to produce 5-tone chords at the same time; its wild.
    Note: 5-notes were proven in a David Larson analysis video on the same song. There are a couple of videos up with The Fairy Voice Mother, Stitch, and Justin(?) from Beatbox International where he discusses his techniques and how they developed. Speaking of: the Fairy Voice Mother has some of the BEST videos on RUclips explaining beatboxing techniques from a singer's perspective, and she's a literal BEAST at duplicating these sounds that shes just being introduced to because she has a degree (and wrote a thesis on) human vocal anatomy. Shes just begun her own beatbox journey, and she's amazing to watch as she's able to explain whats happening with the vocal anatomy for some of the techniques that even beatboxers were unaware of.

    Anybody can beatbox, it’s all practise my bro that’s the best part about it 👌

    I would recommend David Larson's videos on learning subharmonics; he developed his technique outside of the beatbox community and uses a more common language for singers to explain it IMO. Also understand: many of these techniques require using anatomy you're not used to consciously manipulating, but are fully capable of training to do, it takes PRACTICE though, first to understand how to produce the sound the first time, and many, many hours after honing and training that skill.

    He has a tutorial, you can indeed practice this. The question is, do have the patience to actually achieve this 😂😂

    Hell yeah man! Great reaction and yes as you saw you absolutely can learn any of this stuff! You actually got a few basic sounds by accident in this video! When you were imitating the beginning you got the very start of throat bass, which is Codfish's main bass, and chest bass when you were talking about the 'Low octave' hes got to be in at the drop. When you sigh real hard and feel that low rumble thats chest bass. If you're interested in having a chat about any of this stuff please let me know! Would love to nerd out and get a singer's perspective on all these techniques!

    You 100% can practice and do this. Itll take a long time to get to this level. But when i started listening to beatbox. Id start naking random noises all the time. Trying to get one thing down. Now i can do a few different cool bass sounds. Drum sounds. And a bass done in a way i havent heard anyone else do which is cool. I just dont have a good mind on trying to put it all together to a tune but you definitely can practice to do it all

    What makes a beatboxer good, and any artist of any type of routine/hobby is experience, practice, dedication. And what makes the bests amongst them is all the things mentioned before + being a genius or be the best at the skills that you own

    My guy, you actually got to the beginning of it but gave up. Sadly enough, that's how it ends up sounding especially at the beginning for most, assuming you don't have the pre-requisite experience with throat singing or relatable beatboxing techniques. The only difference between us and indicator is the amount of practice and anatomy (some sounds are just easier for some people and not others, you just gotta mess around and figure that part out). Also, I'm pretty sure he's the creator of the sound (if Im remembering correctly).

    He makes the sound from his false folds and allows the sound to come from his mouth and nasalcanal

    It’s prob a bit harder for singers to pick it up 😂 vocal fry is the end goal of that hum. I can’t go as low as Indicator but that blip between head voice and chest voice is what you aim for. Singers train to keep that transition as smooth as possible, whereas this is taking that blip, stretching it out, until it’s it’s own thing.

    well hey you basically did throat bass yourself when you talked about being in a low octave, take that sound and "move it back" a bit

  • @aurora9726
    @aurora9726 11 месяцев назад +3

    Lol you should start by learning vocal fry first

    This one is ok. There a way better beatboxers out there that can make a song sound like it was on the radio.

    4:40 you can practice it. You dont have to have a super deep voice. He explained the sound on his channel I think. If you are a man, then you should be able learn that.

      Although a compliment, to me saying that takes away from the thousands of hours of dedication they put in to their craft.

    • @dropbarracuda
      @dropbarracuda 11 месяцев назад +5

      Not at all. it's just something that takes practice and dedication to learn. It's very literally like learning to walk. None of us are born with the ability to do it, but through trial and error, we figure out the techniques to do it and keep doing it until it's natural.
      Don't dismiss the enormous amount of SKILL (not in-born talent) that is developed by obsessively practicing these techniques to perform at this level. This routine that Indicator's doing is like Olympian-level vocal technique that might be able to be performed by a (very small) handful of other professional beatboxers.

    • @paulwalker242
      @paulwalker242 11 месяцев назад

      It can't take away from their craft if they don't naturally have the craft to begin with. That's all I was saying. What's there to practice if one can't physically do it ?@@0x2A_

    Bruh beatboxers practice daily to improve control over cheek tongue muscles anx yeah your vocal chords mixing with lot of breathing techniques. Hes good but there are way .....wayyy...more beatboxers muvh better than him .... Even you can reach thjs level in a year 😂
