This episode had some great actors of their day. Of all time, actually. Anyone recognize who the uncle was? It was Ralph moody who was in so many tv shows, movies, and radio shows that if you can't really have missed his voice if youve been even a halfway watcher/listener of these formats. He always added incredible genuineness to any show he worked in. Thanks for the upload. I love seeing these wonderful actors of yesteryear. Far better than anything we have today being made. God bless you.🙏
In terms of what they had to work with, both film and audio, with no special effects this old footage is amazingly good. Whadaya suppose these actors (writers and directors too) could do with today's technology? Hard to fathom.
"a great cast of actors Ralph Moody has been in many tv shows and films mainly in supporting roles, Ida Lupine a top star in many films and television shows and also very good behind the camera as a director and producer as well, Paul Picerni and Dick Foran equally great in many films and TV shows."-🤠🐴🖥🌐..
This episode aired on Four Star Playhouse, which Ida Lupino was one of the Four Star producers. This episode is missing a few minutes, following is from IMDB: The film begins with a reporter (William Schallert) coming to interview a very elderly lady (Ida Lupino in heavy makeup) about her exciting past-growing up in the Old West. However, the old lady's family insists that Grandma lived a good and upright life-and Grandma thinks back to her REAL past-a past that involved her having an affair with an outlaw. Then, through the magic of television, we see Grandma when she was a semi-young lady-just arrived in the West and full of spunk. Thank you for posting this episode, Ida Lupino was one of my favorite stars.
The story writer, Dorothy M. Johnson penned such classic short stories, later WESTERNS as THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE, A MAN CALLED HORSE and THE HANGING TREE
Wow! That is seriously noteworthy. The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance is one of the best westerns, and indeed one of the finest movies Hollywood ever produced. And if that weren't enough, a Man Called Horse is flat out remarkably outstanding. Thank you for bringing this talented lady to our attention.
Ida Lapino - had a real crush on her and thought she was a real looker (does that date me, it should). Lucky Howard Duff who had a fairly long marriage with her. Eventually found out that she was a really talented person.besides acting. She was a producer, director and even did some writing. Another reason I liked her was that she was on the short side as I am.too. Hope I get to talk with her in the afterlife.
IDA LUPINO, A SOLID ACTRESS. I REMEMBER HER FROM THE MOVIE "LUST FOR GOLD" WITH GLENN FORD, A MOVIE THAT I SAW DUBBED IN PERFECT LATINO SPANISH IN PUERTO RICO.
Half the fun of watching these forsaken westerns is reading the bios of some of these actors who were in them. Ida Lupino was an incredible talent; and not just in front of the camera but behind it as well. The only thing in her bio she seemed to fail at was staying married.😼
LARAMIE AKA PAUL PICERNI JOINED THE SQUAD OF UNTOUCHABLES AS LEE HOBSON RIGHT HAND MAN TO TO ROBERT STACK'S ELIOT NESS FOUR YEARS LATER AT DESILU STUDIOS
Wow talk about a quick ending I was almost as shocked as she was, Emma was something else thanks Bob that was quite an emotional ride
God bless Bob Terry!

Yes I recognized Ralph I didn't know his name but soon as I saw him I knew I'd seen him quite a few times thanks for that well-informative fact.

Ida Lupino was also a director, producer, and force in the world of commerce.

I like how Ida bites Will's shirt sleeve at the 20:33.

"Strange how desire and passion, could warp an otherwise sensible Bob Terry, an otherwise practical Bob Terry, into pursuing the forsaken westerns."😂
I think that ALLISON JANNEY looks like Mrs IDA LUPINO
Young and beautiful ☺
