i was quite obsessed with creating a VHS effect in vanilla AE and watching tons of tuts on that for a long time. Actually the blur but then sharpen approach i find genius! (and i think i didnt see that in any other tutorial.)

This is better than many other tutorials on this topic. Using Wave Warp for the winkled tape effect is so much better than how other people have created it.
