  • → Join me on this quick little hop across Lake Michigan over a thick cloud bank from Chicago to Muskegon! United Express (SkyWest) is the only airline that serves Muskegon. We start at gate F5 and push back. Its a rainy day in Chicago, and a bit breezy. We taxi to runway 9C for departure and soar into the thick and turbulent cloud layer above. We take hard turn to the north to parallel the Lake Michigan shoreline, and we climb above the soupy nightmare below. As we reach cruise, the thick white clouds provide a wonderful view below. Shortly after reaching top of climb, we begin our descent into Muskegon and back into the soupy mess below. Once we clear the clouds, we make a quick turn to the north west and line up for landing on runway 32. Its hard to tell in the video, but the landing we very bumpy due to in part the winds and a very light aircraft. The CRJ hates being light. We touch down on runway 32 and taxi to the sole gate at the small regional airport, where this flight ceases. As always, all the flight information can be found below!

Welcome to my channel! My name is Scott. I work for a major US carrier as a ramp agent. I upload every Wednesday (and occasionally Sunday) at 3PM MST. It will almost always be a full flight video, but sometimes, you’ll get an arrival, departure or even a rare plane spotting video! It's all so random, so keep checking back!
I hope you consider subscribing to this ever-growing channel! Planes are calling my name, so come join me on a great journey, you won't be disappointed!

Sad that Skywest is putting Muskegon (along with 29 other cities) on the chopping block... All those ramp agents at all those small airports will probably lose employment 👎👎

Is it me or did they accidentally paint more than just the winglet?

@StevenSmith I literally just saw your comment, my apologies. From what I remember, yes, this crew was based out of Denver. Skywest deadheaded the crew from Denver to Chicago, then they flew a bunch of Chicago based turns for 3 days, then deadheaded back to Denver. Likewise, with Skywest's New England routes (most of which are on the chopping block), the crew deadheads to IAD, flies for a few days, then deadheads back to DEN. Again, sorry for the late response!
