There seems to be a recurring concern that the newest fashion dolls will go downhill in quality/design because of parent complaints. LOL Surprise is going on 5 years strong, what do you think the future holds for the influential franchise and do you think the designs will change to please upset parents? Let me know below!
Tbh I feel like LOL is one step ahead of most doll lines the black light features and color change is something so nice and it's a very underrated feature I've never seen doll brands use these types of techniques so it's pretty interesting to say the least
I just realized something that miss royale has a similar name to a drag queen called latrice royale just something I just thought about . Thank you for everything and hope you have a great day . Love you The star toys
Depends what happens with monster high and bratz coming back and how well they do. I love omg but envision one or the other taking them down. All good things come to an end sadly but I’m certainly enjoying them now.
Black women often have these features, and they've been oversexualizing us for decades too. It's something they've been shaming long before the dolls unfortunately.
@@goneforevers when bratz first came out people said terrible things about them, too. If you Google bratz controversy, lots of articles will come up. It is like the same thing all over again with LOL.
Clawdeena, you don’t understand how much your vids make an impact on us. Ur vids are what got me into dolls! Thank you so much for making these videos.
You gave me such a big smile with this comment 💕 I’m so grateful you enjoy my videos and that I could help you find a new passion!! Sending so much love 🥰
I don't even understand what's so wrong with having plump lips, like are they going to say that people with the same lip type are sexualizing themselves just by having them?
I can't be the only person who noticed miss. royale's madonna influence. At the 1990 MTV Awards Madonna wore a rococo inspired outfit while performing the hit song, coincidentally called Vogue. These dolls are so stunning!!
And the show Pose had a major character dressed in Rococco dancing vogue in like the first episode. It explained how the dance style originated in the underground Gay Ball (drag dance performance) scene in NYC. That's where Madonna's choreographers likely picked it up and she made famous years later.

@@Clawdeena9 Hi! I have been a fan of your channel for a while now, and you're a inspiration. You are proud and confident, but you are real, and not afraid to show your scars. Your videos have been an escape from everything going on in the world.
I hope when monster high makes it's come back it has some pop culture references like L.O.L omg dolls and most importantly high quality and articulation
I love that Major Lady's references to David Bowie doesn't end with her appearance. Her name is likely a reference to Major Tom from the song Space Oddity, and the quote in her dance guide is very similar to the chorus of Magic Dance from the Labyrinth, where David Bowie played Jareth the Goblin King.
I would say that Fame queen & Ferocious have prosthetic limbs. I get that it’s supposed to be gloves but since it’s the entire forearm & hand we could totally say that it’s prosthetics especially since they don’t come with alternate hands to swap out.
Since you said that I can so see B-Gurl choreographing Honeylicous, Major Lady choreographing Lonestar, Miss Royale choreographing Pop B.B. and Virtuelle choreographing Kitty K
Wow, I didn't realize how much detail goes into these dolls and their packaging. I must admit, LOL Surprise dolls have not been on my radar, but now I'm kind of tempted to check them out.
Also, Ferocious takes inspiration from Janet Jackson in her hair style, but her blue top and gold chocker are a nod to Beyoncé’ and lady Gaga’s telephone look.

I dunno why people think plump lips and an hourglass figures are inherently sexual. First off, people in real life have actual plump lips. Second of all, when I was a kid I wasn't thinking about bodies- I just liked their clothes and playing with them.
Miss Royal take inspiration from Marie Antoinette but she also takes inspiration from Madonna when Madonna dressed as Marie Antoinette and performed Vogue on the VMAs back in the 90s "hence the flip fan Madonna and her dancers used as props".
Why do parents find something wrong with toys that are made for kids, kids don't really think what it's bad or good, I think that if kids get to know more skin tones and different ways to dress up (and basically how to express themselves) they are going have more respect for other people and ofc respect and love for themselves 💗
I actually adore the LOL OMG body! It's so stylized and cute! I wish we had more dolls with highly stylized figures like OMG and Rainbow High because it's much more interesting to look at a shelf of vastly different body types, not just realistic ones.
