As a senior, I will forget steps faster than when young You are an excellent demonstrator. You did not show the needle threader device, which is nonessential to operating it, and the way I usually sew anyway. You have mead my day as I am doing a simple apron with a monogram on the bib. It gives neatness to your sewing. The tips are wonderful as well. Blessings!
You can tie off a thread to the loopers, it is fine. The lady i bought mine from -which works great -always did. Only saying so no-one panics if they have done this (why not use the wonderful air threading if you’ve paid for it! Babylock isn’t cheap!) this is such a fab video, going to save it for when at serger. Thank you very very much xxx
🎉 This is such a great tutorial!!!! Even better than the BabyLock original. Has it ever happened that the tubing doesn’t engage? I’m having trouble with mine. It was properly threaded during demonstration and when I got home I think I messed it up
Gisela SMith, are you trying to unlock the tubes, or are you trying to lock them? If the lock release lever is to the right, the tubes should be unlocked, & the handwheel should be able to move. If the lever is to the left, the tubes should be locked together, for threading. To sew, make sure the tubes have released completely (you can see where they connect behind the door flap), & that lever should be over to the right. If the lever is to the right, & the machine is still locked, you may need to push the lock button again, to see if the tubes are moving at all. If they won't respond to either the release lever, or the lock button, take it to your Baby Lock dealer for repairs, it may be jammed or have a broken part. Sometimes thread or lint can get caught between the tubes when they get locked, which can cause a jam. Best of luck!
Hi Great, Help with my Serger I just got it yesterday. Can I download one of the work sheets that is shown at the start of the Tutorial? (Baby Lock Imagine Serger Worksheet)
I have an old BL Imagine I got out of storage today. Its locked up somehow and I can't unlock it. In the dim recesses of my memory it seems like I went through this once before but I can't remember. The machine lock push button does do it, the machine lock button release lever is over the right and won't move, neither will the handwheel. Is this a quirk of older models? Anyone know the secret to getting this to unlock?
I have loved this surgery since the day I got it. But now while not thread the upper loop or. It it's like they're something stuck in the loop are itself has past the threading port it will not go! someone help
This woman is amazing in the way she shows how to thread and explains everything so well.
I've watch dozens of videos on the Imagine. This is the best!!

Thanks for the great tutorial. It's just what I needed to help me understand top loopers and the other terminology experienced sewers use.
EXCELLENT instructional video. Cannot thank you enough! Great help.

I would have found your demonstration really great if you had turned on the Serger light. This would have illuminated the area much better.
Thank you so much for this video! It was so much more descriptive and helpful than even the Babylock video!

This is a great teaching video that does not assume the viewer has knowledge. I will refer to it when at the serger. Thanks.
Very good intro - thank you so much!
I have one . Nearly twenty years old and love it💖💖💖💖
Just purchased a used BL serger. I will use this video for future tutorials. Thanks

Excellent tutorial! I want an Imagine serger.
Great tutorial. Just wondering why you didn't show how to use the needle threader.
Can I thread the upper and Lower Looper threads manually. I am having problems getting my thread to go through the upper looper eye.
Good video, why didn't you demo threader?
What happened if your threader don’t work can you thread manually?
Como trocar a Lampada dessert maquina
Great tutorial!
so how do you thread wooly???
