Great video! The Puma rep is great- I can sense his enthusiasm for the shoes! I recently shifted to the Velocity Nitro 2 as I was looking for a solid daily trainer…and it’s a great shoe, now this is coming from a guy who only related Puma to Clyde’s. The excellent reviews from Believe in the Run (my absolutely favorite running site) encouraged me to give Puma a try… and I’ve been very pleased! Keep up the great content!

I like that voyage. Looking to add a trail shoe to my rotation and this one seems to check a lot of boxes.
I had no idea they even came out with a Voyage Nitro 2! I’ve been wanting more Puma trail shoes.
Voyage nitro 3 looks promising
Hi, have you tested the voyage Nitro since ?
What are the weights? Is there a plate in the Apex? You call it a “racing” shoe but then say it was used for a 100k. I’d call that an “ultra” shoe. A “racing” shoe is something I’d want for 1/2-marathon and shorter, something like Dipsea.

Is that Voyage water resistant?
I seriously doubt it, as there's no mention that it's water-resistant, or that it has the Gore-Tex anywhere. That said, the large majority of trail running shoes do not have water-resistant features because it seriously impairs breathability, making the shoe hot after awhiel. Even Gore-Tex, the industry's top waterproofing membrane with its claims of breathability falls far short in terms of breathability when compared with a shoe that does not have the membrane at all.
