    Let’s say that you need to take 3 separate values and combine them to form a date in excel, such as in this example.
    First we left click on the answer cell, cell E2, then type in an equals sign. Next, type in the letter d, and a drop down box will appear. In the box left double click on DATE. Next we need to enter the year, so we left click on cell C2, then type in a comma. From here we need to left click on the month, cell A2, then type in a comma. And next we need to left click on the day of the month, cell B2. Then we type in a closed parenthesis to close off the function, and then hit the enter key.
