    I bought a RK a few months ago from the original owner. The bike was too clean to pass up, especially for the price. He had everything that could possibly be chromed chrome. I've completely fallen in love with this thing. I've changed a few small things to black. The paint is black so it really fits. Never did I think I'd like so much chrome. Watching this video makes me appreciate what chrome can do to a bike, I get it now. Looking at other bikes all plain Jane makes me realize I scored big time. Keep up the good content brother!

      Hey Michael ...I have the SG all chromed out and the RG all blacked out just so I wouldn't have virtual 2 of the same bike and ill be honestly..chrome is still the clear winner for me. When its clean its sick and really turns heads.

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  2 года назад +2

      Hey chad great question that I had addressed in one of my older videos and just really didnt think about in this one...Ive had covers on my SG for several years and never seen any significant heat increases from covers..these motors are made to run pretty hot anyway...on the SG, before I switched out my stock radio it had a temp meter in it,...never seen it run hotter than normal after the cover isntall.so I dont worry about them. Tons of people run these with no issues.

    How do you get the hot spots to stay in . I have the outer sleeve all the way down and they just pop out and vanish into the universe. Some blue locktite on them maybe.

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  Год назад +1

      a small dab of clear silicone ...its easy to pick out if you ever need to remove them..I use it al the time on chrome caps and these little buggers.

    Looking good Steve!! Have a small unrelated question that has to do with your bagger air ride. Seen a video where you said you went to dirty air from jnr. I am running jnr, what type of issues did you run into with them so I may keep watch on mine. Thanks for what you do!

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! And firstly I hope you never have issues with yours because you will never be able tog et ahold of them. They dont answer the phone nor respond to emails. So they dont have to fix what they dont know about. So much for that warranty. And this isnt just coming from me...I have hundreds of people asking me why they wont answer the phone. Issues...first it was the fast up addition...within 4 months it wasnt fast...super slow like there was something plugging the air lines...took it apart 5 times and changed out the air lines twice, changed the fill valve, cleaned all of the valves, took tank off, inspected etc...you get the idea..I done it all and it never would air up any faster than a kit without the fast up tank. RHR failed after about a year...switch was bad...junked the whole RHR. After calling them 7 or 8 times in one week with no answer I reached out to Jason on facebook and was given a hundred reasons why they cant just sit around and answer the phone, they are too busy.....so i guess too busy to take care of you after the sale...complete bullshit.,,if you are that busy, you are making money...if you are making money hire and train someone to answer the phone. I hope you never have any issues man. Let me know if you need anything.

    Have you noticed any blow by on the inside of your trask clear cover? I've seen trask is now making a external venting back plate.

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  2 года назад +1

      Not yet...however I have already purchased it..we are in the middle of winter here so I havent got the miles on it yet...but like I said in the video just run your oil a little low on the hot side of the stick and it will reduce that blow by tremendously. Same air cleaners on baggers and 103s and this helped a lot! If I need to venting kit I will install it and also shoot another video on it.

    Hey Steve. Is it true that ciro3d is owned by Kuryakyn ??? Someone's told me the owner son started Ciro3d?? That true?

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  2 года назад

      Their dad did own kury and drag years ago, but he sold out...ciro is its own company and has nothing to do with kury or drag.
